This bacteria enters people through water and food, and through this, it spreads to many people.

In India, 2-3 million infants and children are affected by this disease every year. In 2015, about 12.5 million people were affected by this disease, out of which about 1.5 people died.
Due to the similarity of its symptoms to Typhus disease, it was named typhoid.
Typhoid disease is caused by infection with a Gram harmful bacillus bacterium, Salmonella typhi, also known as Salmonella enterica serotype Typhi.
This bacterium is usually found in the intestine, but later it spreads to other parts.

Headache, Constipation, Feeling of cold, Diarrhoea, Feeling of lethargy and lethargy. Some patients have a pinkish rash on their skin. Wounds are formed in the intestines, and bleeding occurs.
Symptoms may persist for several weeks or months if left untreated. Relapse of this disease is prevalent.
Prevention and control
The most effective way to deal with and prevent this disease is to take special care of cleanliness. There is a fear of spreading this disease from person to person, so if the patient is at home, keep him a little away from other people.
Hands must be washed after going to the toilet, before or after eating anything.
Keep food covered and use only clean water. And notable efforts should be made for health science.
Also, pay attention to the cleanliness of the house. Sometimes typhoid is also spread due to dirt in door handles, telephones, and taps.

Typhoid vaccines are available that provide immunity for two years. Some effects of the vaccine last for up to seven years.
This disease can be treated with antibiotics. Examples of some significant antibiotics are Chloramphenicol, Ampicillin,
Chloromycetin etc.
