WHAT IS A TRANSFORMER AND WHAT TYPES OF TRANSFORMER That equipment it's never changed frequency and its electrical power changed from one circuit to another circuit  "it's"  called a transformer this transformer its ability to increase the voltage or decreased the current and decreased the voltage or increased the current WORKING PRINCIPLE OF TRANSFORMER The working principle of the transformer is mutual induction 'and'  it depends upon two coils these coils are different electrically but its joined together magnetically STEP - up TRANSFORMER Those transformers' low voltage is converted to high voltage "it's" called as a step-up transformer called a 'step-up' transformer STEP DOWN TRANSFORMER Those transformers' high voltage is converted to voltage it's called a step-down transformer ONE-TO-ONE TRANSFORMER Those transformers its primary and secondary voltage it's same "it's" called as one to one transformer CONSTRUCTION OF TRANSFORMER1 STEEL TANK This is made of steel material and shaped 'the same as' like tank or box putting core winding in this tank is full of mineral oil there are two types of transformer Cylindrical Cubic2 CORE All type of transformer is made of steel sheet laminated core because its continuous magnetic path gives minimum air gap this purpose it takes a huge quantity of steel this steel depend upon silicon element some time heat treatment working of steel the purposed of heat treatment increase the value of permeability for this steel when increasing the value of permeability this time decrease the hysteresis losses also make the core it's laminated it decreases the eddy current losses single phase transformer design for two legs and 3 phases transformer core design for 3 legs the core it's fitting properly into the transformer its making layers and safe for vibration and noise core its made for laminated and tight for bolts3 WINDING The single-phase transformer consists of primary and one secondary winding and three-phase                                                              transformer consists of 3primary winding and 3secondry winding 'so' you need to increase mechanical strength for this winding the winding is heated up with special varnished paper used 4 CONSERVATOR The conservator, it’s a very small tank and this tank it's putting upper side off the main tank this tank is made for cylindrical the main tank and conservator are joined together by a pipe for more than 1mva capacity off the transformer buckles relay it's putting b/w the conservator and transformer conservator its performed by 3 ways 1 this it's giving to space for oil separating and when this time the oil its comes cools conservator transfer to the main tank5 BREATHER The purpose of this equipment passed the air inside or outside the transformer one end of the breather is connected conservator making a glass pot put inside the transformer and this pot is full of calcium or silica gel when this time "air" enter for transformer it also enters the wet airs, silica gel its resume the wet air and passed only dry air after
