What is Tinnitus? It's Signs, causes and treatment

What is Tinnitus?

When the sound enters the ear, it travels through the eardrum to the hearing organ called the cochlea. Now thousands of tiny hair cells convert this vibration into a signal and send it to the brain. Then the brain combines this signal with its auditory memory, which is called Auditory_Cortex. It combines with the accumulated sounds and analyzes every incoming sound, and associates a meaning with them. For example .... We will probably start fleeing from the roar of a lion. We will not do anything with the sound of a goat.

Sometimes some of the hair cells in the cochlea are broken or damaged due to some diseases and other causes. When some signals are broken from these hair cells to the brain, the brain receives unexpected signals and abnormal activity in neurons, and A strange movement occurs, making it extremely difficult for the brain to observe external sounds. And the brain begins to consider the movements and sounds of internal neurons on an emergency basis, causing internal sounds such as noise, Whistling, buzzing, and many other strange sounds to be heard very clearly. The most annoying problem is called tinnitus. Sometimes there may be other causes of tinnitus, such as TJD (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder).

Causes Plasma Tinnitus. This problem is most often caused by arthritis, which causes pain or noise around the ears when eating anything. Another important reason is that the accumulation of cholesterol deposits in the brain's veins causes stiffness or obstruction in the veins, affecting blood circulation.

Sometimes tinnitus is not so serious; it heals on its own. But if it does not heal for a long time, it should not be ignored because after ignoring it, depression, anxiety as well as constipation problems, mental illness, and complete Serious complications such as deafness can also be encountered.

Then the solution is cochlear implantation through surgery which solves the problem of deafness and the problem of tinnitus. But then there are some other problems. Well.. this is not our subject. Therefore, it is essential first to diagnose the disease that is causing the problem of tonsillitis to protect the hair cells from further damage.
