What is the Vertebrates ?

Vertebrata, also known as the vertebrates, comprise one of the most diverse and successful groups of animals on Earth.  Amphibians:

Amphibians are unique creatures with a life cycle that involves both aquatic and terrestrial stages. They start as aquatic larvae, such as tadpoles, and later metamorphose into terrestrial adults. Amphibians include frogs, toads, salamanders, and newts.

 Fishes:

Fishes are aquatic vertebrates that breathe through gills and typically have fins to facilitate movement in water. This class is incredibly diverse, encompassing jawless fish like lampreys, cartilaginous fish like sharks and rays, and bony fish, which represent the largest group of vertebrates.

The success of vertebrates can be attributed to several key adaptations, including their well-developed nervous systems, complex behaviors, and ability to regulate their internal body temperature (in the case of birds and mammals). These traits have allowed them to thrive in various environments, from the freezing waters of the Arctic to the scorching deserts of Africa.
