What is the two child policy of U.P ? Is two child policy is realistic in India ?

The U.P govt. Will make a law in which that person will be deprived of the government facility if they give birth to more than two children.

The Chief Minister of  UP, Yogi Adityanath, worked with the UP state law commission, and with the leadership of AN Mittal, they are drafting a bill on how to execute a two-child policy in the state.

Now don’t know what will be happened and how much will it be successful?  No one knows, but one thing is very sure that a very clamorous and provocative debate will be there in news channels until one or two months. Muslim and Hindu will be invited, and a long debate will be started.

Till 2022 the population of UP will be more than 23.76 crores. It’s a projected population. It is obvious that in which state there will be more population, there will be less facility. So exactly like that, UP is among the lowest 6 states in terms of WHO mandate of 1:1000 (doctor to population ratio)  Doctors per 1000 in UP:0.34.

The TFR ( Total fertility rate) of UP in 2005-06 was 3.8, and in 2015-16, it was 2.7.

TFR means by healthy women from the age of 15 to 49, the total number of birth given by her is called TFR. But exactly what should be the fertility rate to remain the present population unchangeable. According to WHO, it is 2.1. means a couple should have 2 children only.

But what is the real scenario presently?  People are saying if we don’t adhere to the law, then what will we do? Because in India, the children are considered to be the grace of God. If God gives us more than two children, then what will you do? It is the biggest challenge and govt. It is already in preparation; they are saying that I will not give you a government job if you do not follow the rule. People saying till then were you giving? The government says I will not give you any other facility like free ration, subsidy, etc. people also say, till then, were you giving? We don’t care. We don’t need also.

Now let’s see UP is the first state which imposed this law? So the answer is no… before it, Rajasthan,  MP, Uttrakhand has already imposed it in their state. If we talk about MP – Two children policy is in force here since 2001. According to MP civil service clause 4. Rule 22. If the third child is born after January 26, 2001, that citizen will be deprived of a government job. However, even after this, the population grew by 20.35% between 2001 and 2011.

In Rajasthan 2002, the same law came into force. In this, citizens with more than two children were not considered eligible for government jobs. Government babus were asked for premature retirement if they had a third child. In the year 2016, this rule was removed from promotion in jobs. But the rules of retirement remain the same. The same has happened with Maharastra, Uttrakhand. Whenever the government imposed the rule of 2 child policy, then all the time, the birth rate of the same state increased. Some time that birth rate also crossed the national birth rate, so this was the history of this law. Now it will be interesting to see that. Will, the government of up, will be able to impose this law successfully because the history of this law was not good, and it is high time when we should take firm action to control the population.

Now govt and people are both firms in their decision so let’s see what happens.
