What is the situation Homeopathy now?

Homeopathy has gained its fair share of critics over the past few years. James Randi, an American Illusionist, offered money to anyone who could prove, under laboratory conditions, that homeopathic remedies cured diseases. No one dared to challenge him. However, that does not make it meaningless. A new debate about the effectiveness of alternative therapies or complementary medicine proves that this is a topic with many important ideas.

Homeopathy has been around for about 200 years, and its founder was a German physician, Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843), who had great success in treating scarlet fever epidemics.

Another thing that makes Homeopathy so unusual is that Homeopathic medicine has no cure. Many people seem to believe that Homeopathy is similar to Herbalism. The fact is that Homeopaths take something and clean it over and over again until there is not a single molecule left.

The Journal of the American Institute for Homeopathy reported in May 1921 the success of the homeopathic approach to the flu epidemic. From Dayton, Ohio, Indeed McCann reported that the death toll of 24,000 people with the flu was 28.2 percent, while the death toll from the 26,000 people receiving homeopathic treatment was 1.05%.

Michael Baum, a professor of surgery, who has argued that NHS funds should be used for conventional treatment, is, among others, outraged. Prince Charles, arguing that alternative medicine should be given a greater role and fuel the fire, said Dr. David Reilly, dismissing novelists as great science fiction writers who insult what they do not understand.

The test method also does not work better than chemically based treatment because the side effects are mild compared to the possible side effects of new drugs. For this reason, they have been thoroughly tested for possible contraindication. Homeopathic remedies are cheap to produce, and many ingredients are not patented. What should be good for patients and the NHS is not yet ready for big pharmaceutical companies that rely on licensed medicines to get their benefits.

The cost is less than the sum of the health budget of billions of pounds. In comparison, it is so cheap that it can be a barrier to widespread availability. But homeopathy should not be a cost-based option or as an alternative to alternative therapies. GHH treats patients with cancer and depression, among other diseases. If homeopathy works and benefits patients (as it does), collectively we should be open-minded and content enough to support it as a complementary therapy alongside traditional medicine.

And on December 8, 2003, the vice president of Glaxo Smith Kline worldwide stated that most drugs - more than 90% - only work for 30% or 50% of people who give them. Maybe scary, but weird? It was reported that a spokesman for the British Pharmaceutical Industry Association (a commercial association of pharmaceutical companies in the UK) said they usually did not know the cause and admitted that the answer was probably in human genes. ', so standard medicine does not have all the answers. Another important issue is the active participation of the patient.
