Boredom is the first stage of creativity. Boredom breeds confidence.
Boredom creates self-relationship. Boredom makes childhood happy.
Boredom develops problem-solving skills. Boredom helps children form relationships.
So take advantage of this opportunity to encourage the child to do something creative and new. Do not immediately grab the mobile phone from the child, or immediately tell him the solution to relieve his boredom, but force him to think for himself. What should we do in this boredom? And after a few moments, he will tell you 2.3 three things that come to his mind.
A= Alternate.
The idea of finding alternative activities is to gradually move the child away from the screen to something that will increase their creativity.

Hobbies.

Now the benefit is that the screen time has also reduced significantly since that day, and children look better mentally and physically than ever before. You too can help your child find favorite outdoor games and try to improve them.
Indoor Games.
Indoor games like carom board, card game, ludo chess, Dictionary, musical chair, etc. improve these tasks in children.
Engage your child in household chores. It not only reduces screen time, but, also allows you to spend more time with your child. Relationships improve, and qualities like cleanliness, discipline, time management, and most importantly self-care develop.

A practical way to reduce your children's screen time is to reduce their screen time by 25% from today and gradually reduce it every week to normal. Remember, if you suddenly reduce screen time too much, the chances of failure are high. We will start this work with ourselves and show ourselves as role models for the child.
How can it?
When you enter the house, put your mobile phone in front of your child on the charging station or in the closet or hold the mobile phone to the child to put your mobile there, so that he/she can see that the father/mother has unnecessary mobile phones. Not using it only for calling or listening
The second thing they will do is that during lunch and dinner, everyone will not use their mobile phone, nor will they bring it to the lunch/dinner area. Rather, during dinner, everyone will gossip and have healthy conversations to strengthen relationships.
The third thing to do is to stop using mobile phones or reading books not in the bedroom at night, instead, discuss your children's activities throughout the day.
The fourth thing to do is to note the time of your child during the day when he is more focused on mobile or games. For example, when the mother is busy in the kitchen or housework while sleeping at night, picking up from school while sitting in the car.
On these occasions, you can take some other alternative measures according to your child's mood and favorite activities to break his mobile phone habit.
Except when he is doing something positive on his mobile, taking an online class, or doing something academically related.
S= Support.
When the child is using a mobile phone, watching TV, or playing games, most mothers are harsh with the children, reprimand them harshly, and turn off the TV. Gadgets are snatched from hand. With this kind of behavior, the child starts to consider you his opponent, avoids you, and does not listen to you.
Instead, give your child your support, explaining how to make positive use of mobile phones, TVs, and laptops, whether you use them to complete school assignments, or to improve your computer skills, and that too at scheduled times.
Keep introducing new activities periodically to keep them interested.
Spending quality time with children has a significant impact on screen time. Eating together, taking walks, going on short trips and picnics, and avoiding all devices, provide an outlet for communication.
