We all know that there are more online money-making scams than genuine opportunities. In the 7 years that I've been generating money online, God alone knows how many times I've been a victim of fraudsters (or at least trying to). So, I thought it would be useful to compile a list of red flags for those of you who are new to the entire process and are just getting started in the world of generating money online. This will save you money and time spent seeking for reliable online money-making opportunities. Please bear in mind that these are simply my own opinions based on my prior experiences, not facts.
A large sum of money
This is the most significant indicator that should trigger your suspicions. I mean, if a website promises you $5 for clicking on a link, or if a program promises you thousands of dollars in a week or while you sleep, it's obviously a rip-off. If that's the case, why aren't they doing it themselves instead of trying to sell you this knowledge for a profit?...
What kind of person are you?
Turn around and don't look back if you can't discover any information on how and who to contact, or who is accountable for the site. Because they are not frightened of people finding out who they are and/or authorities going after them, established businesses keep their contact information up to date and simple to discover.
Time to Respond
Before you join up, get in touch with the site/company and ask a few questions. Scammers usually don't bother answering or responding to any email. Even if they do, it will take a long time for them to reply. Consider how long it will take them to pay you (assuming they will pay at all) if they take that long to react to a query.
Decorated to the max
Scam sites, for some reason, tend to use a lot of flashy signs and big bold text (I know, I know, I make a lot of internet marketers angry by saying this because they all have flashy sites), but I believe that if you have real information that will help someone make money or whatever, you don't need to draw people in with overly sized and colorful text. There's a significant possibility it's a scam if there's a lot of huge, colorful language describing how much money you'll make instead of a thorough description of how you'll make that money. Legitimate businesses typically create their websites in a basic yet stylish manner.
It's Far Too Simple
If it says "Make $2000 a Week, No Experience Required, No Work Involved," think about what type of work you might have that pays that much money without any experience or effort. While there are genuine ways to make that much money in a short period of time, the most of them need considerable expertise and hard effort, unless you have millions of dollars to deposit in the bank and profit from the interest.
Email Promotions
If you receive an email from someone you don't know that begins with "dear friend" or something similar, and then on to tell you how he or she knows, you have the perfect chance to make money.... Is there anything else I can say about this? Most individuals are always seeking for methods to earn more money, but how could a stranger know you're looking for a means to make more money right now, and how would he even know who you are? Email is occasionally received from Nigeria and other countries.
