JAI BHI is an outstanding movie by Surya Siva Kumar which is based on true events. It's a powerful movie with great direction. It is very happy to see an actor like Surya acting in such a powerful movie. The purpose of this movie is not to entertain, but to educate and empower the oppressed ones. As it is a court-based story, the prosecutor and defendant fight to solve the case with solid evidence and witnesses. In this movie, he is a tool to enact justice for the oppressed ones in society. There is no highlighting entry or songs which exist only to admire him. Surya's role as an advocate is awesome. The film focuses on the tribal characters played by a Malayalam actress and his husband and the series of unlucky events that they faced in their life. Police behavior has been a major sensitive topic, which is touched by very few filmmakers, even when we keep hearing several cases in the news. Pure acting with the raw truth of our society is what the movie is. The movie's first half is a disturbing watch with the cries of the oppressed ones. The scream of these people are heard loud and clear, it is depicted well in this movie. But the film gets better in its second half. The final isn't predictable. The movie is one of the masterpieces in the Indian film industry. Overall, the movie is worthy and a must-watch movie. It's a director movie, not a mass hero movie. A big hats-off to the entire crew and the director TJ to present such a subject very nicely. A must-watch movie for the ones who love humanity and the ones who stand for equality. The Awesome film directed by the great T J and starring Surya, Lijomol Jose, is a heartbreaking tale. The movie follows and deals with Rajakannu, a couple from the tribe, and is based on a true story from 1993. Hot Shot, starring Surya, is one of the exceptional, great films of the year (Younger Killer Looks). From the very beginning of the film, it is completely surprising and engaging. From the first 5-10 minutes, it's clear that this is a one-of-a-kind album. Director TJ Brave & Bold attempt, movie (2 hours, 45 minutes long), flawlessly speaks about police custody behavior, police cover-up, systemic corruption on a massive scale, that is so difficult to logically digest or reason out the entire truth, that there would be no end to the entire picture. The game of blaming never ends. I like to add that JAI BHI is honest, clear-cut truth loaded with heart-wrenching sequences that will leave you feeling as though there is worse in the world than good.
Actor Surya can be praised for his superstar performance, which is awe-inspiring, only to be confronted with embarrassing sheets of lies, caste hatred. Surya has done such a fantastic job of acting so brilliantly and so subtly that I completely forgot about him in the process of being so engrossed in the amazing narration of this highly engaging, story-telling approach that writer TJ has devised and embraced. Huge applause for S. R. Katrin’s breathtaking cinematography, which breathed new life into this film and added a layer of tension. Sean's music is notable in its own right, since it made me experience agony and a variety of emotions throughout the film.
