According to the report, on Tuesday (December 26), the email was sent with threats to the Mumbai headquarters of the Reserve Bank of India. The threater stated his two demands there.
 
The email said,
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman must resign immediately. Along with that, Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das also has to resign.

A total of 11 bombings were planned, the threatening email said. That attack will happen on Tuesday. Even, where the attack will take place, the threat has also said.
 
Meanwhile, the Mumbai police were alerted after receiving the news of the threat. Every place written in the email is searched. But the police said that nothing was found during the search.

According to India Today, the email ID from which the threat was sent is the username 'Khilafat India'. For now, a complaint has been lodged with a police station in Mumbai in the name of that email ID.
