FOREWORD
A mother gets several children having different character and countenance. But their relation remains the same. So also we are born on the same planet and are nourished by the same Sun, Moon, Water, Air, Earth. But unfortunately, forgetting the common relationship among us, we have formed different cults, different sects, different religions to identify ourselves separately., It is pitiful to think that living in the same family we treat as strangers to each other. If, however, we could realize by heart the basic uniformity in our so many diversities, we might have united together. That this uniformity is not a mere abstract idea but a concrete reality has been discussed in this little treatise with a materialistic view. I shall be grateful to the gracious readers of this can rouse a common concept in their minds and inspire them to think about a Worldly Family.
My spiritual Father-Preceptor Janmasiddha Thakur Shri Shri Balak Brahmachari, who is called by millions as the God-incarnate of the Age, has been preaching from His very boyhood the concept of One World, One Religion, One Nation, One Family. But unfortunately very few have paid any heed to this. On the contrary, the whole World today is on the brink of destruction through envy, rivalry, hatred, intolerance, and race for supremacy. In this very context, the teachings of my beloved spiritual Father are of immense importance and need to be propagated to the people at large. Hence this little attempt to reproduce what I have learned from His very kind discourses on that account. I pray to His Holiness that this very little light may help enkindle the guided great - the inner self of every individual reader and his followers in turn.
MOTHER EARTH
Here in this World, we find a mother giving birth to many a child. All of them do not get the same nature and countenance. Some look beauteous, some others ugly. Some become saints, some run saints. But in any case, their lineage is the same - they are offsprings of the same parents. And accordingly, they bear the same relationship between themselves - they are brothers and sisters by birth.
Similarly, we come from the same Earth Planet, we are offshoots of the same Great Sun, nevertheless, we have taken different forms and physiques as trees, plants, worms, insects, animals, and human beings. So the lineage of us all is the same - sons of the same Soil, progeny of the same Sun. As a baby lives on the mother's breast, so also we, the countless creatures of Mother Earth get our sustenance by sucking her breast. So many roots and plants are the sucking nipples through which nectar juice is ejected for our livelihood. It is fact undeniable.
We must not forget that our Earth is not an inanimate object. It has its life and conscience as we have. In this age of science, we shall have to accept this theory if we analyze it without any prejudice. If the Earth has no life and conscience, it would not have been possible for it to bring forth so many living beings like us. Inanimates can never give birth to animates. Only life begets life. In fact, what we have called so long as inanimate objects, are not such. In the entire creation, there is no existence of any inanimate object whatsoever. All are lively and conscious. The metaphysicists are all along preaching this great reality. The physicists today also are meditating over this issue and have raised a cogent question on this line - "Is an atom full of life? " Because they find through their microscopic eye that each and every atom, the minutest particle of matter - animate or inanimate, has a nucleus where a dotlike substance lies static and one or more different dots named as electrons move around with a tremendous speed. If there be no life and conscience within, how this spontaneous movement of the electron particles be possible there? This simple question over a very simple matter gives the clue of the reality that everywhere in this Universe extending from innumerable stars and planets up to the chromosomes and dust-particles there exist life and conscience, there exists one all-pervading Supreme Being. Our Earth Planet being part and parcel of that Supreme Being has its life and feeling too. So it is an undeniable fact from the Natural as well as scientific points of view that we are the offsprings of this Mother Earth and are nourished by her. Thus all our diverse Identities such as Hindus Muslims Christians, Chinese Japanese Indians, or Socialists Communists Congressites are nothing but absolute fake. The only identity, the real credential of us all stands as Santan, the undisputed offsprings of the same Mother.
