What is the newest trending weight loss method that makes you One Kg A Day?

You’re probably wondering that the title above is just a hoax, and it's just some secret weight loss pill for weight loss drink that you're going to have to pay thousands of dollars for, which eventually won't even work for you or anyone at all. But no, this is just a basic pattern that you can do sitting right where you are without much effort. Many celebrities like Adele, Britney Spears, and Rosamund Pike have claimed it helped them lose a ton of weight in less time. So what is this new trend, and does it call for any harsh or drastic food and lifestyle changes? No, it doesn’t! What if I told you that you could lose weight eating anything you wish for without having to go on any crazy diets or without having to count any calories. What is this Technique, you may ask? This is nothing but Intermittent Fasting. Some of you must have heard of this, and some of you mustn't have heard of this. Fear not, I'm here to guide you on how you should go about it and get your dream summer body.

Intermittent Fasting is a kind of on and off fasting. It calls for you to eat whatever you want under the sun but within a limited period of time. This time period can range from 12 hours to 24 hours even. Intermittent Fasting is rather a pattern of eating more than a diet or a lifestyle choice change. This also counts for not abusing your body but actually listening to what your body has to say. You can listen to your body when it is hungry, stop when it is full, and stop eating after a certain time of day? Sounds fun and free to me! Follow all the steps below, and here’s a take on Intermittent fasting from my personal experience just for your benefit.

How Should I Begin Intermittent Fasting?

There are a few common and very effective ways you can start doing right from today. Some of the Methods of Intermittent Fasting are:

  1. 16/8 Fasting
  2. 18/6 Fasting
  3. 5/2 Fasting Period
  4. 23/1 fasting window
  5. The Warrior Diet/ OMAD

1) 16/8 Fasting

The numbers here actually tell us the number of hours we are supposed to eat and the number of hours we are supposed to fast. To the left is the number of hours we should fast, and to the right is the number of hours we must consume food. This is one of the most popular Intermittent fasting methods among all and brings the best results within no time. I myself have tried this and recommend you try it if you are a newbie to intermittent fasting.

2) 18/6 Fasting

As told before, the number to the left indicates the number of hours we must fast and to the right the number of hours we must eat. Although it is just two hours more of fasting than earlier, it is a little difficult to do, like the more time you go without food, the more fat you burn. A six-hour eating window is considered ideal when it comes to intermittent fasting. It is neither too extreme nor too minimal.

3) 5/2 Fasting Period

This differs from the previous windows. It actually refers to the number of days you must fast to this means you must eat food for five days in the week, and between those days, you must take entire daybreak of not eating, which amounts to two days. Although it is a different approach to intermittent fasting has been proven quite effective.

4) 23/1 Fasting

This is a rather extreme form of intermittent fasting, but you are guaranteed to lose more than 3 kgs a week. It refers to fasting for 23 hours of the day and keeping only one hour as your eating window period.

5) OMAD / Warrior Diet

Last, of all, the extremes, coming at the topmost, we have the OMAD or the Warrior diet. OMAD stands for One Meal A Day, which forces you to eat only one meal in the entire day and then break your fast a whole 24 hours later with the same mealtime again. This makes you lose a ton of weight within no time.

How Does Intermittent Fasting Actually Work?

Well, our body consumes more food than it actually needs to survive on a day-to-day basis. Most of this excess food goes to storage and makes us gain weight slowly by slowly. Intermittent fasting uses this stored up energy or fat to gain energy during the time you are fasting and burns off all the old weight that one may have put on over the years of their life. It is also scientifically proven to eliminate type 2 Diabetes, reduce sugar levels, repair damaged cells in the body, and reverse the aging process. I can think of no better way to lose weight than this and gain all the other benefits. Have a wonderful journey Ahead!
