What is the natural resources

We know that Earth is the only planet where life exists. Life on Earth depends on many factors. We also know that for life, ambient temperature, water and food are required. Energy from the sun and the resources available on earth are needed to meet the basic needs of...

1) What is this wealth on earth?

This is land, water and air. The outermost layer of the Earth is called the lithosphere. There is water on 75% of the earth, it is also found in the form of underground water, all of them are called hydrosphere. This circle of the earth that supports life is located where the atmosphere, lithosphere and hydrosphere interact with each other to make life possible.

2) The role of the atmosphere in the control of climate.

We know that the atmosphere covers the earth like a blanket. We know that air is a bad conductor of heat. The atmosphere keeps the average temperature of the earth almost constant during the day and even throughout the year. The slows down the rate of heat going into outer space during the night. Think of the Moon. This is about the same distance from the Sun as the Earth. Despite this, the temperature on the surface of the Moon, where there is no atmosphere, mains in the range of 190 °C to 110 °C

3. Abundance of minerals in the soil.

Soil is an important asset that determines the diversity of life in an area. But what is soil. How is it formed? The outermost layer of the Earth is called the Earth. Found in this layer provide various nutrients to the organisms. Over a long time span of thousands and millions of years, the earth is broken by various types of processes.

Soil formation factors and processes

• The sun heats the stone during the day, due to which it expands, during the stones are cold because each part of the stone expands and compresses unevenly. When this happens repeatedly, the stone cracks, and in the end these large stones break into small pieces.

• Water helps in the formation of soil in two ways, first, the heat of the sun can burn in the cracks of the stones. If this water freezes later, it will widen the cracks further. Can you imagine why this should be the case?

Second, the flowing water breaks the hard stones and the fast flowing water carries away large and small stones with it. These stones collide with other stones and turn into small pieces, the water takes these pieces of stones with them and further deposits them. The soil is found at a place far away from its original stone.

4) Why is the water cycle necessary?

You have seen how rain occurs after evaporation and condensation of water in reservoirs. But we have not seen the seas and oceans drying up, so this light water comes back into these reservoirs, the whole process by which water, water vapor is formed and falls to the surface in the form of rain and then reaches the sea through rivers. We call it the water cycle. This affair is not as easy and simple, as it is said that a lot of water that falls on the earth does not immediately go to the sea, some of it goes inside the soil and becomes part of the groundwater, the groundwater recedes into the springs. But it comes to different processes of life, terrestrial animals and plants use water

Life on earth depends on resources like soil, air, water and energy from the sun.

• Winds are generated due to the pregnancy of air in asymmetrical form over land and water bodies.

• Evaporation and condensation of water from reservoirs provides rainfall.

• Pollution of air, water and soil harms the quality of life and Jain practices
