1 What is the meaning of collaborative culture in business and what are its characteristics?

There is a need to be open, collaborative, and empowering to promote innovation and design thinking.  Collaboration can enable the organization to achieve strategic advantage.  This will also benefit the collective talent and skills of the employees.  As stated in Gestalt psychology - an entire part is more than the sum of its parts.  Come, learn the salient features of an open, free and collaborative organizational culture -

trust and transparency: -

It is necessary for an open and functional culture.  A good leader ensures that whatever information is shared in the organization is through proper channels.  It is essential that the leader earns the trust of those who work with him, and has confidence in the abilities of others.

 Autonomy and Empowerment: -

Sometimes leaders, managers, or supervisors either reluctantly assign tasks to their subordinates or attempt to micro-manage every task, as they doubt the ability of subordinates.  It is essential that the leader maintains a balance between standard processes and autonomy to accommodate innovation and focus on the purpose of the processes, which enable employees rather than restrict them.

Empathy and Attitude: -

Leaders' empathy and involvement with those employed at the lower levels in the hierarchy boosts the confidence of subordinates in times of major crisis or major change.

Promoting Prototyping and Design Thinking: -

Leaders should allow the use and construction of prototypes.  This design strengthens the Thinking culture and may possibly lead to 'Eureka' ie breakthrough innovations.

Establish a feedback mechanism: -

Different aspects of organizational culture can be taken not only from customers but also from other stakeholders - mainly employees' feedback.  Negotiations, questionnaires, forms, etc. can be taken for this.  Organizational culture does not just ensure a strategic edge but is also a part of any organization's personality and 'brand perception' - that is, what people think of that brand.

2 What is a "10x Leader" and what does it mean in business?

Much of the literature on leadership focuses on vision strategy, style, and authenticity, but not all of which often discusses an important aspect needed to be a successful leader;  And possibly this aspect has not attracted the attention of researchers and practitioners either.  Angus Ridgeway (a strategic consulting major at McKinsey & Company) led the leadership development and prof.

Tal Ben - Shaher (a lecturer at Harvard Business School who has taught popular courses on positive psychology and psychology of leadership after gaining extensive experience in leadership consulting and development) realized after his experiences in development training that many organizations  Despite considerable efforts by senior management to create a leader, they have been unable to foster a new generation with effective leadership qualities.  Hence both decided to define new paradigms after studying leadership effectiveness for personal development and well-being.

Successful leaders develop a sense of responsibility and commitment in themselves, without being distraught, despite facing the daunting challenges of an unstable, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous world (VUCA World).  They remain energetic and enthusiastic and develop synergy and balance, inspiring all the individuals around them.  Angus and Tal define such leaders as '10x leaders'.

According to him, these leaders not only focus on vision values and strategy, but also recognize the importance of development, betterment, and welfare of themselves and the people around them.  They carry out their work and responsibilities with a feeling of happiness and satisfaction.  Reduce the risk of disturbances and continuously increase one's own abilities in these situations of constant change.
