What is the meaning of aims education

Education is a purposeful activity. It is undertaken by the educator and the learner for achieving certain definite ends in view. In the words of John Dewey, An aim is a foreseen end that gives direction to an activity or motivates behavior.

3. Political condition.

4. Psychological factors.

1. General philosophy. Every society has a general philosophy of life. That means all nations and cultures believe in certain things and consider certain things as good or bad.

2. Form of Government. Whether a nation is ruled by a king or is a democratic country will also influence the aims.

3. Political conditions. The aims of Education in an independent country are different than those in a subjugated nation.

4. Psychological factors. In the modern days, new theories about the psychology of Education influence the aims of Education to a great extent.

 

Aim of Education given by Gandhi Ji.

Gandhi Ji proposed the following aims of Education:

1. All-round development of personality.

2. Character building as aims of Education.

3. Vocational aims of Education.

4. Cultural aims of Education.

5. Individual and social aims of Education.

 

1. All-round development of personality. It is one of the essential aims of Education. This aims to develop physical, intellectual, emotional, social, moral, and spiritual aspects of personality.

2. Character building as an aim of Education. Education is a means or via media of building the character. It is the individual character, which ultimately reflects the nature of the nation. According to Gandhiji, "the end of all knowledge must be the building up of character." 

3. Vocational aims of Education. Education's vocational purposes are also called" bread and butter" education should enable individuals to earn their livelihood. The main idea of introducing craft in" primary education" was to allow the learner to acquire skills efficiently, allowing them to make.

4. Cultural aims of Education. Education aims to provide the knowledge of cultural heritage to the learner to know and study the nation's culture.

5. Individual and social aims. The education should help develop the individuality of the individual, and it should also bring them very close to society and make their social interaction. 

 

Objectives of population Education 

1. To give a knowledge of the social and economic implications of the social and size.

2. To make them understand that family size is a matter of choice and nat and chance.

To make them understand the relationship between family size and quality of life.

4. To develop an attitude towards the small family.

5. To make them aware of the dangers of overpopulation.

6. To develop an awareness of the population policy and programs of the country.

7. To develop an understanding of some basic demographic concepts and processes.

8. To understand the ways to check population growth.

Population education is composed of two worlds, i.e., population and education, when combined, means to educate the people: the need, importance, and population control methods.

 

The study includes the study of:

Growth and development of the child

Intelligence and personality of the child

Interaction between the child and the environment

All the three above
