What is the life Philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi?

Gandhiji was brought up in the midst of very religious views and was religious in nature himself.  This religious nature of his is clearly reflected in his thoughts.  Basically, its philosophy of life is based on 'Gita.'  Gandhi did not create any new philosophy.  He has given practical form to the basic hair of Indian philosophy.  This practical form is indicative of his understanding; that is why he is called today as Gandhi-Darshan, Gandhism, or Sarvodaya-Darshan.
