In the Tibetan astrological system, the changes in time, seasons, and movements of the planets and constellations are all related to the five elements of existence. The astrologer makes the calculation and, from that, the interpretation to determine the balance of the elements of the person, especially the elements of health and sustaining life, the "La" energy. When "La" energy disperses or decreases, a person's physical and behavioral changes can be observed first-hand, and astrologer prescribes antidotes to soothe the spirits in the form of charms, prayers, and other remedies.
