What Is The Importance Of Plants for us

THE IMPORTANCE OF PLANTS

Plants are very important for our planet and for all living things. Plants absorb CARBON DIOXIDE and release OXYGEN from their leaves, which humans and other animals need to breathe. Plants also provide the food we eat—produce as vegetables and fruit come from plants.

Plants can be almost any shape or size, but they typically grow in clusters called GROVES; every tree you see is part of a larger grove! Plants can also live UNDERGROUND (like bulbs) OR UNDER THE WATER (like kelp.) Plants must get water and nutrients out of the ground to survive, just like us when we drink milk! Without enough water, plants wilt away.

People use plants for many things—especially the wood from trees. The wood is taken from plants used for making homes. Plants such as palm and bamboo are grown for their FIBERS; we use these fibers to make clothing and other things.

Plants also provide us with flowers, which we use to make PERFUME and to decorate our homes. Plants also provide medicine, such as the pain reliever ASPIRIN. Plants are a very important part of our everyday lives.

THE ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE OF PLANTS

Plants are one of the most important parts of our society because they are an integral part of all human activity. Plants produce almost everything humans use today including food, clothing, shelter, and even fuel for transportation. Food production would be impossible without plants producing fruits and vegetables that feed the world's population.

Plants also go into making things like paper products or building materials to make structures that people live in. Not to mention there would be no medicines to cure diseases if it weren't for plants producing chemicals with medicinal uses. Plants are crucial to this planet's economy and ecosystem and we all need to do our part in helping protect them.

Plants also provide us with oxygen and they help the environment as a whole by absorbing carbon dioxide that would otherwise pollute the air. They serve as a home for other creatures such as insects and many others, which if eradicated would throw off the natural balance of things greatly.

Plants are necessary to human existence and without them, we would not be living on this earth today! Plants are gifts from nature that support all other living things. Plants are not only the most important part of our ecosystem but also a valuable gift from nature! Plants provide food for many animals and people. Plants convert carbon dioxide into oxygen for us to breathe. Plants can be used as medicine or shelter. Plants help clean the environment by absorbing CO2.

Plants fix carbon dioxide:

plants absorb CO2 (carbon DIOXIDE) from our atmosphere through their leaves during PHOTOSYNTHESIS; they use the carbon to build new parts of themselves, plus oxygen as a by-product. Plants release OXYGEN into the atmosphere through their leaves during PHOTOSYNTHESIS Plants produce clothing: Plants are used to make clothing such as cotton. Plants provide FOOD for us and other creatures, including fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, grains, etc.

Plants give us PERFUME through flowers or other parts. We use plants for MEDICINE, like pain reliever ASPIRIN which comes from the bark of WILLOW TREE, QUININE used to treat MALARIA whose source plants, PENICILLIN which is THE FIRST ANTIBIOTIC that discovered whose source again plants, CAFFEINE is one of the most common drugs available in the world also taken from plants, etc.

PLANTS as a source of MINDFULNESS Plants not only provide us food, medicine, shelter, fabrics, etc. They are also a source of mindfulness. They help to clear your mind from worries and fresh your mood. They make us happy.
