What is the Importance of education?

Education is the most significant tool in eliminating poverty and unemployment. It enhances the commercial scenario and benifits the country overall. It helps a person take a better informed decision with the use of their knowledge. This increases the success rate of a person in life. It is the hope of development and success for most third-world countries and the world's dominion countries. Mandatary education builds the scope of better growth and development. But our indian education system faces a lot of problems that do not let it prosper and help other children succeed in life. The biggest problem which it has to face is the poor grading system.  Its judges the intelligence of a student on the basis of academics which is in the form of exam paper. Furthermore , we see how the indian education system focuses on theory more. Only a little percentage is given for practical.  Indian education system does not emphasis enough on the importance of sports and arts. Students are always asked to study all the time where they get no time for other activities like sports and arts. In conclusion,  the indian education system must change for the better.  It must give the student equal opportunity to shine better in the future.  We need to let go of the old and traditional ways and enhance the teaching standard so our youth can get create a better world . India is committed to providing basic education to its citizens, the framework of which is defined in the National Policy of Education. Elementary education is now compulsory in India. At the time of Independence, only 14% of India’s population was literate. Now after so many decades since Independence, the number of literates has increased by fivefold. In most of the schools in India, English is a compulsory language and the regional language is also taught with equal importance. We learn to be secular with the help of Indian educational system. Studying at a school where we have students with different religions, we slowly learn how to respect other religions as well.Indian education system emphasizes competitive spirit from early stages. Competition teaches students to unleash their full potential. There is a ranking system since school that makes the students strive for performing good. It develops the brain in earlier stages and boosts their thinking power. It teaches to analyse our strengths and weaknesses consistently.Steps should be taken to make technical and management education cost-effective. Accountability should be laid down on the teachers, schools and management in case of poor performance. We need to bring in the best brains in the teaching industry.High prices of higher education in India is becoming a serious problem. The quality of education provided is associated with the expenditure on it. Higher fees are charged if the institute is well-known. The enormous amounts of donations demanded by private institute are not new. Indian Govt isn’t investing in higher education aspirants. Indian govt is spending only 3% of its GDP on education. Also, there is no control of govt on the fee structure of private educational institutes.
