Are you aware of the importance of criticism?
The late Abraham Lincoln, former US President, said in response to his detractors' protests, "If I were to read all the criticisms and accusations that have been written against me, there would be no other work to be done in this office than to answer them." I keep on giving. I do the work as good as I can. And I will continue to do so from beginning to end. If in the end it turns out badly, no matter how much I explain or not, I was on the right path, it will be in vain. And if good happens in the end, then what is being said about me today will have no value.
It is the law of the world that she wants to see everything with her own eyes, as per her imagination. Every person in society wants that the world run according to his wishes, and when that does not happen, people find each other's faults and criticize each other.
But this criticism of people is of great use to the wise. They are not afraid of it; rather, they welcome such criticism. They are afraid, but of whom?
There is no confidence.
But how many of us are such people? Most people are such that if someone points out our mistakes, even for our good, then we consider him very bad. The result is that people stop telling us about our mistakes, and in this way, unknowingly, we keep doing our own harm.
So unless we have balanced intelligence, dedication, and self-confidence, we will continue to be troubled by this fault-finding habit of people. To achieve success in life, it is very important to welcome criticism and take full advantage of it. Whether we believe it or not, criticisms are such attacks in our life struggle that keep increasing our strength.
A wise man had written on the wall of his room, "To avoid criticism, don't speak, don't do anything, and don't think anything."
It is also true that the higher a man rises, the more work he does, and the more originality comes into him, the harder it is to escape the eyes of the people. Then why not have such an expectation in advance and prepare yourself for it? But yes, don't invite criticism without any reason.
We are afraid and nervous of criticism because we think that if we do things right, then why should people find fault? But have you forgotten that one person cannot please everyone in the world? So far, no such method has been found in the world by which complete satisfaction can be given to everyone.
No matter how well you do a good deed, people will find fault. It is absolutely impossible to avoid it. Then why be afraid of criticism? After being fearless, you should have this spiritual power so that you can take a decision on that criticism and implement your decision in your life as well.
Criticism is not always true.
If you accept all the criticisms as truth and start following their instructions, then know that you will go up and down like a pendulum of a clock.
