What is the HUGE Mistake By Amber? And Why does Amber challenge Johnny To A Head-To-Head TV Interview?

Amber Heard and her team made a huge mistake by challenging Johnny Depp to sit down for his own tell-all interview in the wake of their explosive defamation trial, which he won and Amber’s subsequent sit-down chat with Savannah Guthrie. This challenge has not gone well with the public, as most are wondering why Amber still wants to be involved with Johnny after claiming she wanted to be left alone.

The Aquaman actress gave an exclusive, no-holds-barred interview to Savannah for Dateline. She sat down for an interview with Savannah Guthrie and answered questions about why she wrote the op-ed and if she’s worried she’ll be accused of defamation again if she speaks out.

Disappointed by Amber and her team's frequent lies, Johnny’s team stated: “It’s unfortunate that while Johnny is looking to move forward with his life, the defendant, and her team are back to repeating, reimagining and re-litigating matters that have already been decided by the court and a verdict that was unequivocally decided by a jury in Johnny’s favor.

A spokesperson of Amber then challenged Johnny and his team and said: “If Mr Depp or his team have a problem with this, we recommend that Johnny himself sit down with Savannah Guthrie for an hour and answer all her questions.”

During the interview, Heard claimed that she never intended to get Depp cancelled and that she still loves him and didn’t want to hurt him. She said, “I tried my best to make a deeply broken relationship work. And I couldn’t. I have no bad feelings or ill will toward him at all.”

Even though she still loves Depp, Heard said that she is proud of herself for standing up for herself even though it didn’t work out in her favor. She explained that she got a restraining order against Depp back in 2016 because “I made the decision to stand up for myself and protect myself.” She feels that she also stood up for herself in court.

Depp was awarded $15 million in damages, but will only receive $10.35 million due to a state cap on punitive damages. The jury also awarded Heard $2 million in compensatory damages after finding that she was defamed by Depp’s attorney, Adam Waldman, after he accused Heard of framing Depp in a “hoax.”

Savannah Guthrie appeared to be skeptical of the Aquaman star throughout their one-on-one, pressing her on recordings and other evidence presented by Team Depp while conveniently ignoring much of the recordings and other evidence offered by Heard.

From the interview, it was pretty clear that Amber doesn't see herself as any wrong doer, in her eyes she is still the victim who needs to be pampered and understood. It would have been easier for her if she had been truthful in court, but she wasn't, tiny details that proved she was lying in court were what made the public turn against her. The public believes that if she is capable of telling lies that frequent, then she is capable of lying about her ex-husband.

A fan tweeted, ''So Amber Heard said «When you’re in an abusive dynamic, psychologically, emotionally and physically, you don’t have the resources that, say, you, Savannah Guthrie, or I do, I’m shocked. She took herself OUT OF THE EQUATION. Another tweeted, One of the purest evidence Amber Heard lied about being a survivor of Johnny Depp was when in her interview with Savannah Guthrie she said so calmly how she loves him (present tense) and holds no ill will towards him.
