What is the greatest part of career advice and why?
Make your feedback valuable.
There is a lot hidden behind that statement.
If you want others to value your opinion, you have to work very hard to prove that you know what you are talking about. This means you need to gain knowledge and understand the details of what you are doing.
In addition, you need to work on your communication skills.
Even if you know a lot, if you do not know how to express it, people can reduce your opinion. Maybe you are ashamed and do not say your opinion willingly.
Maybe you talk too much, so people will learn to ignore your opinion. Maybe you are not firm enough. In any case, to value your opinion, you need to work on your communication skills.
So why is this important? I think having valuable views is very important information to move forward in your career. When I hear people “generally value and respect each other’s opinion,” I think of someone who has a great career projection.
Here is a list of the top behaviors that can start your career.
Be authentic:-
Work for yourself! You will be amazed at how many people appreciate real, meaningful connections at work. You do not have to be a corporate robot. Sheryl Sandberg has a good quote about:
Motivation comes from working on the things we care about, but it also comes from working with the people we care about and you need to care about those who need to know them.
You need to know what they love and hate, what they feel - not just what they think. In order to win hearts and minds, you have to lead with your heart as well as your mind.
I can not believe we have a professional self and true self at all other times from Monday to Friday.
That kind of separation probably never worked, but in today's world it makes very little sense it It's all professional and at the same time personal.
Be passionate:-
You take care. You want to make a difference. People can hear your voice, the way you walk.
And guess what? Passion infection. It can motivate your employees.
It can turn your customers into your champion. It can take you on a journey.
If you consider work to be grind, it feels like grind. If you are passionate about what you do and how you can make a difference, work no longer feels like work. It's like a mission. And it changes everything.
Focus:-
At some point, you will have a list of things you can not get at work. Instead of being discouraged and giving up, focus on what is really important to achieve that day.
Every day, I try to make a list of three important things that can make a big impact at work. Focus drives the results.
Look no further:-
It is easy to get caught up in your mistakes. You look back, focus on the problems and suddenly you can not focus on the task at hand.
This can have a huge impact on your current performance. Here's what I'm referring to - this is called the 10 year trial.
Ask yourself - is this a big problem in 10 days, 10 weeks, 10 months? What about 10 years? Will this problem matter in ten years? 99% of the time, no answer. So stop living on it, lift your head up and look no further.
Own it:-
You succeed in some things and you fail in some things.
One of the best things you can do to get through this is to own it. For this people will respect you. Why?
Because you are ready to show them that you can master it, both good and bad. Most people want to adopt it only when things are going smoothly. #True
Be persistent:-
Most people do not properly handle rejection or negativity. No one said it was easy to solve difficult and important problems! Whoever stands firm, they stand firm. Stay on course. AirBnB did it (it took 1000 days) and see where it got them!
Accept your fear:-
Are you afraid that you will not excel in the potential job you are looking for? Afraid to speak in the office for promotion, did you know you deserved it? Afraid to try a new business idea?
Here's a good question you need to ask. How do you know if you have never tried? Do you know what you really are afraid of? For many years from now, the fear of having huge remorse for not really trying.
Hustle is the antidote to fear. Go and make it come true.
Do not make excuses:-
Go and make it come true. I’ll talk more about that - but the Holistic Manifesto below summarizes it completely. Google it and you will know what I mean.
Enjoy the moment:-
Life is short. Make the best use of it. Smile. Motivate someone to laugh until your stomach aches.
Send a fist. "Woo!" Shout. When you conclude the big deal. Tell your coworkers how awesome they are.
Go there and have fun. As you know, nausea is contagious.
