What is the future of Electric Vehicles?
The entire hue and cry over crude oil began in the 19th century, which has raised the above question in the present era. 1879 is the year when the first gasoline engine was discovered by Carl Benz, whereas the first passenger car powered by a diesel engine was introduced in 1936. Since then, our global community is juggling comfort, mobility, environmental challenges, and increasing diseases. Besides that, fuel has also been a decisive factor in the economy of all the countries.
These issues have been encouraging the global community to find some alternative options for mobility around the world. Therefore the automobile industry worldwide is working on electric vehicles.

The trouble with the contemporary fuel
Both the fuels diesel well as petrol is originated from mineral oil. The refining methods are responsible for their differences. But both the fuels are responsible for the carbon emission in the atmosphere, which caused several diseases nowadays. The diesel contains approx 2.68-kilogram carbon dioxide per liter while the petrol contains approx 2.31-kilogram carbon dioxide per liter. The vehicles powered by contemporary fuel are the reason for the emission of Carbon Dioxide and several other toxic gases in the air, i.e., Nitrogen Oxides, Nitrogen Dioxide, Nitrous Oxide, and Nitric Oxide.
Another obstacle is the monopoly of the few countries over the oil industry, which caused the sudden changes in fuel prices everywhere. Such frequent and unbridled hike in the fuel price is the reason for inflation in many countries.
It is an assumption that the entire traditional fuel from the world oil reserves will be finished within the next 47 years. Hence it has been essential to work on alternative sources of mobility without harming the environment and with very reasonable running costs.

How the world is responding to Electric Vehicles
The concept of electric vehicles has been appreciated worldwide, which encouraged several automobile manufacturers to develop their new launches. Please find below the name of some leading brands producing electric vehicles :
- Tesla
- Lucid Motors
- Envoy Technologies
- Ztractor
- Revel
- Hyliion
- Charge Point
- Rad Power Bikes
- Prana Grand
- Revolt
- Hero Moto Corp.
- Mahendra & Mahendra
- Tata Motors
Although electric vehicles have been launched in many countries, a mixed opinion has been witnessed among electric vehicles.
Electric vehicles have been massively accepted by China, Europe, United States, Canada but the European countries accepted comparatively slighter. People of the Indian subcontinent are gradually accepting electric vehicles.
Challenges in encouraging Electric Vehicles
Despite being environment friendly, economical, and user friendly, electric vehicles still have challenges in some countries.
Insufficient Charging stations: It has been observed that electric vehicles are being used for the city run. These are not preferred for a long run or long drive as there are not enough charging stations in remote areas. Sometimes there is no charging station in the countryside.
Expensive Battery: The battery of an electric vehicle generally remains expensive, making an electric car unnecessarily expensive. There are very few battery manufacturers in the world, and the import duty makes it further expensive. The concerned authorities must find some effective salutation for the same. This is the major factor of the lethargic response over the Electric vehicle.
Range of Electric Cars: This is very evident that the range of such vehicles happens unimpressive normally. In western countries, it is comparatively satisfactory, but it is not satisfactory in most countries.
Limited options: Since it is the initial stage of this concept, minimal designs or models are available in the market. Manufacturers are very much concerned about eco-friendly vehicles but not about their style.
Poor quality: In the Asian countries, the countries are compromising with the built quality and other features to reduce the cost of the vehicles.
Solution
- First of all, the cost of the import of battery and the manufacturing cost must be reduced to reduce the cost of the vehicle.
- Massive installations of the charging stations on every remote location will help surly boost the sales of an electric vehicle.
- The companies must accelerate the range of these electric vehicles to make them more adaptable.
- There should be a huge variety of designs, models, and styles in electric vehicles.
- Assurance of the quality, maintenance, and repair options will encourage the sales figure of electric vehicles.

Stay safe and go green.
