The positives far outweigh the negatives. But, running a franchise business and employing family members can create its own unique set of problems.     What if one of your family members, be it a brother or sister, is not pulling their own weight? What if he or she is not up to the task? What if he or she does not get along with other family members? This can lead to all sorts of problems. For a start, you can’t just sack them due to the emotional attachment.
