WHAT IS THE EDUCATION

An education summary is the section of your resume where you highlight your academic qualifications and achievements. If you don't have work experience yet, this part of your resume has an important role in convincing employers you can succeed on the job. The education summary section usually comes after your work experience if you have an employment history.

 

It facilitates quality learning all through the life among people of any age group, cast, creed, religion and region. It is the process of achieving knowledge, values, skills, beliefs, and moral habits.

Education began in prehistory, as adults trained the young in the knowledge and skills deemed necessary in their society. In Story-telling passed knowledge, values, and skills from one generation to the next. As cultures began to extend their knowledge beyond skills that could be readily learned through imitation, formal education developed. Schools existed in Egypt at the time of the Middle Kingdom.

Educational psychology is the branch of psychology concerned with the scientific study of human learning. The study of learning processes, from both cognitive and behavioral perspectives, allows researchers to understand individual differences in intelligence, cognitive development, affect, motivation, self-regulation, and self-concept, as well as their role in learning. The field of educational psychology relies heavily on quantitative methods, including testing and measurement, to enhance educational activities related to instructional design, classroom management, and assessment, which serve to facilitate learning processes in various educational settings across the lifespan.

 

Educational psychology can in part be understood through its relationship with other disciplines. It is informed primarily by psychology, bearing a relationship to that discipline analogous to the relationship between medicine and biology. It is also informed by neuroscience. Educational psychology in turn informs a wide range of specialities within educational studies, including instructional design, educational technology, curriculum development, organizational learning, special education, classroom management, and student motivation. Educational psychology both draws from and contributes to cognitive science and the learning sciences.

There are movements for education reforms, such as for improving quality and efficiency of education towards relevance in students' lives and efficient in modern or future society at large, or for evidence-based education methodological.

Education is a crucial factor in ending global poverty. With education, employment opportunities are broadened, income levels are increased and maternal and child health is improved.

 

In areas where access, attendance and quality of education have seen improvements, there has also been a slow in the spread of HIV/AIDS and an increase in the healthiness of the community in general. In fact, children of educated mothers are 50% more likely to live past the age of five.[7] Not only does education improve individual and familial health, but it also improves the health of a community. In countries with solid education systems in place, there are lower crime rates, greater economic growth and improved social services.

Education is a powerful driver of development and one of the strongest instruments for reducing poverty and improving health, gender equality, peace, and stability. Developing countries have made tremendous progress in  the  majority of children worldwide are now in primary school. Nevertheless, some 260 million children are still out of primary and secondary school.

Never before have so many children been out of school at the same time, disrupting learning and upending lives, especially the most vulnerable.

The global pandemic has far-reaching consequences that may jeopardize hard won gains made in improving global education.
