What is the difference between Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cell

Previously, all living organisms were classified into Plant and animal kingdoms, but it has long been proven that living organisms are far more complex. A common example of it is the existence of microorganisms like parasites, Fungi, Bacteria, and even Viruses that are different from plants and animals. After the development of molecular biology and knowledge of genes have increased, scientists classified living organisms into two superkingdoms, named prokaryotes and eukaryotes.
The fundamental difference is that prokaryotes, such as bacteria, don't have nuclei.

1) The word 'pro' meaning before, and 'karyon' meaning nucleus.
2) Distinct nucleus is absent in prokaryotic cells.
3) On average, 1 to 10 times smaller in volumes than eukaryotes.
4) Because of smaller functions, their structures are also simple.
5) The genetic material of prokaryotes is present freely in the cytoplasm, together with few organelles.
6) None of the organelles are membrane-bound.
7) Their cell walls function as protection from the external environment.
8) DNA not enclosed in a nucleus.
9) Number of chromosomes in a prokaryotic cell is one.

11) All prokaryotes have the 70S (where S=Svedberg units) ribosomes, while eukaryotes contain larger 80S ribosomes in their cytosol. The 70S ribosome is made up of 50S and 30S subunits.

1)The 'EU in eukaryote means true, and 'karyon,' as we mentioned before, means nucleus.
2)So, as the name suggests, eukaryotes have a nucleus or more than one nuclei in their cells, and their genetic material resides in it.

Organisms possessing prokaryotic cells are called Prokaryotes, and those possessing eukaryotic cells are called Eukaryotes. Prokaryotes include bacteria and blue-green algae. Eukaryotes include all other unicellular or multicellular organisms such as animals, plants, fungi, and protists. The primary distinction between these two types of organisms is that eukaryotic cells have a membrane-bound nucleus while prokaryotic cells do not have.  The nucleus is only one of many membrane-bound organelles in eukaryotes. Prokaryotes, on the other hand, have no membrane-bound organelles. Prokaryotic cells generally lack many membrane-bound structures found in Eukaryotic cells; for example, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum chloroplast, and Golgi apparatus are absent in prokaryotic cells. DNA molecule is directly suspended in the cytoplasm. In prokaryotes, mitosis is missing, and the cell divides by binary fission. Because of their simpler structures, it was widely accepted for a long time that prokaryotic cells represent a more primitive stage of evolution than eukaryotic cells. Perhaps the most distinctive feature of the prokaryotic cell is its cell wall, composed of polysaccharide chains bound covalently to a shorter chain of amino acids forming peptidoglycan or murein. The entire cell wall is regarded as a single huge molecule complex called sacculus, while the plant's cell wall is cellulose.
