Diet rules according to Indian 12 months..
1. Chaitra (March-April) – Eat jaggery in this month because jaggery purifies your blood circulation and also protects you from many diseases. In the month of Chaitra, you should also use 4-5 soft neem leaves daily, by this you can avoid all the defects of this month. By chewing neem leaves, the defects present in the body are removed from the body.
2. Vaishakh (April – May) – Summer starts in the month of Vaishakh. Bel Patra must be used in this month which will keep you healthy. Do not use oil at all in the month of Vaishakh because it can make your body unhealthy.
3. Jyeshtha (May-June) – This month is the hottest in India. Sleeping in the afternoon in the month of Jyeshtha is health enhancing, consume cold buttermilk, lassi, juice and as much water as possible. Do not eat stale food, heavy food and hot things. Your body may get sick by using them.
4. Ashadh (June-July) – In the month of Ashadh, consume mango, old wheat, sattu, barley, rice, kheer, cold things, cucumber, palwal, bitter gourd, bathua etc. And even in the month of Ashadh, consuming hot things may be harmful for your health.
5. Shravan (July-August) – Harad should be used in the month of Shravan. Avoid green vegetables in Shravan and also reduce the use of milk. Take less quantity of food – consume old rice, old wheat, khichdi, curd and light easily digestible food.
6. Bhadrapada (August-September) – In this month, consume light and easily digestible food. Due to the rainy season, your digestive fire is also slow, so consume easily digestible food. In this month, you should consume Chita medicine.
7. Ashwin (September-October) – In this month, you can consume milk, ghee, jaggery, coconut, munnaka, cabbage etc. These are heavy foods but still they get digested in this month because in this month our gastric fire is strong.
8. Kartik (October-November) – In the month of Kartik, consume hot milk, jaggery, ghee, sugar, radish etc. Stop using cold beverages. Do not consume buttermilk, lassi, cold curd, cold fruit juice etc., these can harm your health.
9. Aghan (November-December) – Do not consume cold and hot things in this month.
10. Paush (December-January) – Use milk, khoya and khoya products, gaund laddu, jaggery, sesame, ghee, potato, amla etc. in this season, these things will give health to your body. Do not use cold things, old grains, moth, bitter and dry food.
11. Magh (January-February) – You can use hot and heavy food in this month also. You can use ghee, new grains, gaund laddu etc.
12. Phalgun (February-March) – Use jaggery in this month. Make it a rule to do yoga and bath in the morning. Do not use gram.
