WHAT IS THE DIABETES CAUSES, SYMPTOMS AND TREATMENTS? Part-1
WHAT IS THE DIABETES CAUSES, CAUSES AND MEDICINES?
SOME CERTIFICATES OF DIABETES
• Diabetes is a chronic condition that causes high blood sugar levels.
• In 2013 it is estimated that more than 382 million people worldwide have diabetes.
• Type 1 diabetes - the body does not produce insulin. About 10% of all diabetes cases are type 1.
• Type 2 diabetes - the body does not produce enough insulin to function properly. About 90 percent of all diabetes cases worldwide are of this type.
• Gestational Diabetes - this type affects women during pregnancy.
• The most common symptoms of diabetes include frequent urination, severe thirst and hunger, obesity, abnormal weight loss, fatigue, cuts and bruises, numbness and tingling in the hands and feet.
• If you have Type 1 and follow a healthy diet plan, get enough exercise, and take insulin, you can live a normal life.
• Type 2 patients need healthy eating, exercise, and their blood sugar levels. They may also need to take oral medication, and / or insulin to control blood sugar levels.
TYPES OF DIABETES
1) Type 1 diabetes:
The body does not produce insulin. Some people may refer to this type as insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, childhood diabetes, or early-stage diabetes. People are more likely to have type 1 diabetes before their 40s, usually in adulthood or in adolescence. Type 1 diabetes is not as close as type 2 diabetes. About 10% of all type 1 diabetes is type 1. Patients with type 1 diabetes will need to take insulin injections for the rest of their lives. They should also check the proper levels of glucose in the blood by having regular blood tests and following a special diet.
2) Type 2 diabetes:
The body does not produce enough insulin to function properly, or the body's cells do not respond to insulin (insulin resistance). About 90 percent of all diabetes cases worldwide are type 2. Some people can control their diabetes symptoms by losing weight, following a healthy diet, exercising a lot, and monitoring their glucose levels. However, type 2 diabetes is usually an ongoing disease - it is gradually getting worse - and the patient will probably end up having to take insulin, usually in a tablet condition. Obese and overweight people are at a higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes compared to those with a healthy body weight. People with high visceral fat, also known as obesity, belly fat, or abdominal fat, are especially at risk. Obesity / obesity causes the body to release chemicals that can damage the cardiovascular system. Obesity, physical inactivity, and poor nutrition all contribute to our risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Scientists believe that the effect of sugary cold drinks on diabetes risk may be more direct, rather than just a factor. The risk of developing type 2 diabetes is also high as we get older. Experts are not entirely sure why, but they say that as we get older we tend to gain weight and do not exercise. Those with a close relative who had type 2 diabetes, people in the Middle East, Africa, or South Asia are also at greater risk of developing the disease. Men with low testosterone levels have been found to have a higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
3) Pregnancy Diabetes:
This type affects women during pregnancy. Some women have high levels of glucose in their blood, and their bodies cannot produce enough insulin to transport all the glucose to their cells, leading to a gradual increase in glucose levels. Diagnosis of gestational diabetes is performed during pregnancy. Most patients with gestational diabetes can control diabetes with exercise and diet. Between 10 and 20 percent will need to take certain medications that control blood sugar. Unexplained or uncontrollable gestational diabetes can increase the risk of complications during childbirth.
