What is the cause of the war between Ukraine and Russia?
The war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on for almost twenty days. On February 24, President Vladimir Putin ordered his country's military to invade Ukraine, and just minutes later, Russian forces launched a surprise attack. Ukraine's military and civilian buildings were demolished after a series of missile strikes.
Looking at this incident from above, we would think that Russia is a powerful country, so they launched this attack to occupy Ukraine. But the reality is that Russia had no choice but to attack. Because the President of Russia thinks that the enemy must attack before the enemy can attack. The United States and NATO have a big hand in organizing this war because they are setting up US military bases in the countries around Russia, making Russia's neighbors NATO members, which is a threat to Russia.
In this context, NATO wanted to make Ukraine its member because Ukraine has a large border with Russia. The United States and its allies intended to put pressure on Russia by making Ukraine a member and setting up military bases along the Ukrainian border.
And if NATO could do that successfully, it could put pressure on Russia that Russia would never want. That is why Russia has repeatedly barred Ukraine from becoming a member of NATO. But Ukraine's prime minister, Zelensky, did not listen to Russia's tactics. When Russia started threatening war, Ukraine thought that the United States and NATO would help Ukraine with their military might, so instead of bowing to Russia, he incited Russia to war.
Russia has repeatedly said that Russia does not have borders with Russia, but Russia has repeatedly said that it does not have a border with Russia, and that it does not want to join Russia, but has heard that Russia wants to join a country that has borders with Russia. Russia has been opposed to this for a long time, but when it saw that nothing was happening. If they could not prevent Ukraine from becoming a member of NATO, the United States would sit on their nose and military bases.
Russia, however, has the advantage in this war, whether it is victory or lose, but the United States, because Russia's invasion of Ukraine has resulted in more than 5,000 sanctions on Russia, almost all over Europe, including the United States. Banned from international transactions so that Russia lags behind economically. And even if Russia loses, it will keep Russia under various sanctions and put pressure on Russia by setting up military bases in Ukraine.
Whatever the outcome of this war, the United States has the advantage, and they have incited Russia to war, and they have retreated by bringing Ukraine into the war because they are on Ukraine's side.
Russia's agreement with the United States in 1991 stated that the United States would not increase its membership in NATO, but since the agreement was not signed, the United States continued to increase its membership in NATO. The United States has not stopped, despite repeated sanctions from Russia, forcing Russia to invade Ukraine.
