Shahrukh Khan starrer 'Donkey' has been maintaining a strong hold at the box office since its release. The film, directed by director Rajkumar Hirani, has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark worldwide and is still going strong. According to initial trade estimates, the film's collection on December 24 is equal to the collection on the first day (December 21).

According to comScore, Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunky' secured the fourth position in the worldwide collections between December 22 and December 24. According to their report, the film earned $23.82 million (Rs 198 crore). Today, 25th December, being a public holiday, 'Donkey' will easily cross the Rs 200 crore mark in theatres.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala reported that the film earned a net worth of Rs 31 crore on Sunday, 24 December. He wrote, "Early estimate for #DunkyDay3 is Rs 30 crore. Same as Day 1. It's Christmas holiday, should do well (sic)."
The four-day total collection of 'Dunky' in India has now reached Rs 106.43 crore. 'Dunky' recorded an occupancy of 49.67 percent in India on 24 December.

While fans were waiting outside the theaters to see their favorite actor on the big screen, a fan dressed as Shah Rukh's 'Donkey' character Hardy caught everyone's attention, including King Khan. The fan was seen wearing a blue kurta pajama with a matching sweater, exactly replicating Shahrukh's look from the film. After this he presented a scene from the film outside the theatre, due to which everyone started clapping for him.
Shahrukh reacted to the viral video on Instagram and wrote, "Hey now go watch the picture or keep wrestling outside. Go watch the movie and tell me did you all enjoy it. (Will you go to the theater and watch the movie) or "Just gonna end up wrestling outside) (sic)."
