What is the biggest lesson you have learned in the corporate world?
Never be the smartest person in the room.
Always listen to your inner voice. If it "feels wrong" it is.
Debt makes you and your company ***** anyone.
Doing the right thing is never wrong. It is never right to make a mistake. Conclusions do not justify ways. The Ten Commandments are also great security tips by anyone.
Do not hire employees or friends. Hire people who believe in Vision and want to be partners, because it makes us or some people feel different from living ******.
Remember who you wanted to be when you were a kid. You never wanted to be the Dream Killer, the Paper Pusher or the Suite. You wanted to change the world. Why are you not changing the world? Age is a mentality, and the older you are mentally, the less dynamic change you will capture and create.
Love your people. If your end users appear to be people who "click" or are just customers, you will fail. If you care about them, you will create a product that will make their lives better or easier. You both win. Most companies are the opposite. Prioritize:
Principal:-
Love and respect individuals (your end customers / marketers and employees / partners).
- If you have strong foundations for yourself, and you protect those two things, the next two will settle naturally.
Production. The product becomes clear if you know the first two
Profit. It is a by-product. Never forget that. The easiest way to make a profit is to make your target hate you.
Do your word binding. Agreements are important, but your word is worth more. Your yes means yes and no means never. The spirit of the agreement is just as important, as the words of the agreement. Never insult yourself.
Plan to make fun or it will never work. Sometimes they are right, but the best ideas may seem insane at first, or everyone may already be doing it.
You do not know what to do or not to do. But why. The difference between a computer manufacturer and a Steve job is the same. He knows why. Art.
With God, everything is possible.
There is no such thing as dividing morals. You can not cheat your wife or taxes but be honest and loyal in the workplace. Fix your character flaws. We all have. Learn them or they will master you.
Make your weakness your strength.
The biggest lesson?
These guys are on top, they are there for a reason. The path you are running now runs the same way with the same shoes, sinking in the same heat, becoming more detailed, cooler and wiser with time, perseverance and effort.
In short, do not make connections in the corporate world, keep your eyes open and your mouth shut, help your juniors, keep a safe distance from referred employees, they are snakes. And always remember that what is going on around is coming for sure.
In the end, it's a vicious circle for making money - for the betterment of our future and for settling down. When will we settle down?
