Children are one of the most precious gifts every parent can have in life. We work hard and try to make more money so that we can provide the best for our children. The best education, shelter, food and more! However, it is very difficult to communicate effectively with our children due to the generation gap. As parents, we must take responsibility for our own worth and happiness and understand that when children want to do what they love, we have nothing to do with not loving them or betraying what we think. Again we are looking for efficiency and love by trying to control our children, apparently we do not do this on purpose, we have learned that this is a big vicious circle, you can love yourself if we take responsibility. Wouldn’t it be great if parents could break this conditioning mold that has existed for so many years and teach our children to see the world as a better place, rather than with our limited awareness of fear and danger. Despite our good intentions, our children will not listen to us. Some reasons for communication breakdown between children and parents are as follows: 1) Lack of time-Due to financial reasons, both father and mother have to work and often have to work longer hours so that the family has enough money to meet the living expenses. This leaves parents with no time to communicate with their children. 2) Incompetent communication skills - Parents often refuse and fail to understand what is in their child's head. They often rub their values and beliefs on their children. Parents fail to listen when their children want to share their thoughts! It's like one way communication! 3) Peer pressure - Children's classmates and friends often influence children more than their parents because they spend more time with peers than with parents. Their peers are more likely to listen to children. That is why children consciously or unconsciously take limited beliefs and bad habits from their peers! Incompetent communication often has a negative impact on children. They are motivated in their life, lack of self-confidence, have low grades in their school and do not know how to communicate effectively with people. Even limited confidence and poor communication skills can negatively affect them after engaging in work life. They work hard in life, are happy in life, lack of motivation! Parents can improve relationships by spending more quality time with their children. They need to help children listen. They need to understand that effective communication is not one-way communication. Feedback was also taken from the children. Formal school education, however, teaches our children many technologies such as science, mathematics and more. However, it fails to teach and address the soft skills needs of children. There is a need to fill the education gap of other informal children. The greatest gift that parents give to their children is informal education. Smooth The skills they learn from informal practice can significantly improve their quality of life with free web content, their grades and better relationships. The soft skills they learn also make a positive contribution to adult life; They will be happier and more successful in life!
