What is the attention diet?
In the time it took me to explain this topic. I checked Twitter three times and my email twice. I responded to four emails. I looked at Slack once and texted two people. I went down through the rabbit hole of YouTube videos once, it cost me about 30 minutes to produce, and I probably checked the prices of my books on Amazon about 1000 times.
In what was supposed to be 30 minutes of work, I unreasonably interrupted myself at least nine times. In addition, the cost of these interruptions exceeds the additional time to eliminate this bad thing. They almost disrupted my imagination train, reduced the quality of my writing, and thus created a need for more editing and reviewing. They probably created anxiety as I spent most of my distracted time worrying about not working and most of my time working worrying that I was missing text conversations, email messages, or news updates. They probably made the writing process itself unpleasant and made it seem like a tax on my mind.
These distractions are not just productive, they are counterproductive. They create more work than they change.
The chances of you getting over it are always yours. For me, it only gets worse as time goes on — which is strange, because you may think that my attention span is getting longer, but that is not the case.
I started blogging in 2017. I remember going down to extract a draft of 1,000 words easily. I just got up and did that and went to buy breakfast. It was somewhere around 2019 that I realized I used to interrupt myself to check out Facebook or email. It was in 2018 that I heard it was starting to become a problem.
I felt I had to pay attention, I had to focus on what I was focusing on. It was new. It wasn't something I had to think about since I was a kid.
Last year, these interruptions were mandatory. I did not know how to interrupt myself and had to walk a long way to prevent this from happening. It was as if I were living in some kind of digital hellscape, where the process of doing anything important and important seemed not only successful but also.
Sometimes it seems that I do injustice to myself and my health due to overwork, but I also do injustice to my wife and two daughters by not giving them time. Most people do that. They do all this for the sake of money, but despite being poor, I never give in to the lure of money, otherwise I too can make good money by creating a channel on YouTube, but since my hobby is writing and reading And I rarely think about it, even though we have not escaped the effects of the hurricane of inflation all over the world due to Cove-19, but to say that the poor have been most affected by it, however I have strong faith. Whatever the circumstances, but Allah is the Giver of sustenance, so I was talking about hobby, so my hobby was reading and writing and will remain,
