What are the amazing fascinating facts about Christmas

In honor of this wonderful trip (my favorite, actually), we have a list of Christmas records. I wish everyone who reads Christmas a happy Christmas.

In the first week, Christmas turned out not to be celebrated as a first-rate party. The earliest evidence of a Church attempting to set a date for the coming of Christ comes from the second century AD, when theologians in Alexandria determined that it was the 20th of May. In the 380s, the Church of Rome attempted to cover most of the area through December 25th because of the common feast day, and later this day was held.

As was often the case in the early Church, the influence of pagan Roman festivals was evident, for December 25 turned into a day-to-day contest. Cyprian comments on this: “Oh, how beautiful the Grant is, that on the day that he was born. The Christ must be born. ”

Everyone knows who Francis - a famous saint who had supernatural powers over animals, and who visited the Middle East to convert to Islam - presented himself to be thrown into a fiery furnace.

And we have all the visible units of the birth of Christ - small (or sometimes collected) pictures representing the gift of man at the beginning of Jesus. What most do not realize is that Santa Francis instituted the birth of Jesus during the 13th century!

Gift-giving, Christmas drinks, Christmas cards, and many other Christmas customs are not the current capitalism (although capitalism prefers that) - they come to us sincerely using the ancient Romans who traded all these things on New Year's Day. (Stern at, named after Serena  the goddess of New Year's gifts).

This was first avoided with the help of the Church  (Do not) make EULA, [small figures of the Elder], small deer or optics or set tables [elf, compare Puck] at night or trade. The Yule tradition .  St Eliquis, 7th century) but The old morality became increasingly difficult and quickly passed on to Christmas.

In England, Christmas was banned by an Act of Parliament in 1644; the day becomes a fast day and a market day; shops are forced to open; plum pudding and minced pie were discarded as pagan. Conservatives resist; in Canterbury bloodshed; but after the Restoration Opponents persisted in calling Yuletide "Fool tide".

After the Protestant Reformation, corporations and Puritans denounced the Christmas celebration, viewing it as a Catholic invention and the "papal eunuch" or "Silo rituals." The celebration became legal in Boston from 1659 to 1681.

The Pilgrim Prohibition of the Pilgrims was lifted in 1681 by English Emperor Sir Edmund Andres, but changed to mid-19th century when Christmas became popular within the Boston area.

As is often the case with ancient cultures, many myths have surfaced around Christmas. The most popular is that all births of Christ did not occur and are based on the pagan god Mithra (sun god). Many facts about Mithra's existence are presented as evidence, but it is only in recent times that this theory has been promoted.

In fact, various similar phrases were borrowed from nominal Christianity during the Mithra sect. Mithra is said to have had a similar beginning in Christ, yet the pagans actually believed that he had been born and raised on a mountaintop.

Moreover, the herdsmen who worshiped Mithra at the beginning did not reappear until Jesus' birth became public. This is a matter of pagan theft in Christianity and not the other way around. [Source: “Statistics and reminders are related. Aux Mysteries de Mithra ”(2 volumes, Brussels, 1896-1899)].

Most people have heard the story of how Martin Luther, a well-known Protestant protagonist, gave the world a Christmas tree (or in some cases, candles from the Christmas tree). It is not real.

The first association of trees with Christmas dates back to Saint Boniface in the 7th century AD, when he cut down the sacred tree of Thor to prove to the local inhabitants that the Norse deities no longer exist. By the 15th century, people had been chopping down trees and putting them in their homes to decorate with sweet fruit and sugar and candles.

That one simple statement provokes anger among many people; Many Christians think it is disrespectful to renew the name of Christ with an ‘x’ - to the point that it is a far cry from using anti-Christian people to stop Christmas.

However, Christmas is almost old-fashioned because the festival refers to it - ‘x’ is literally the Greek word chi, which is the first letter of Christ in Greek (Χριστός). Each Xmas is not as national as Christmas.

Santa Claus is completely settled in the first Archbishop of Saint Nicholas. He was born sometime in the 1/3 century (270 AD), in the heart of the Turkish city of Panama, and changed his name to secretly giving monetary gifts to the unrighteous.

A modern portrait of him as a red-hot comedian probably comes from an 1823 poem called "A go to from St Nicholas" and called "The Night before Christmas" which you can read in full here.

In the late 1800s, a candy maker in Indiana sought to enrich those Christmas customs with a candy cane. He came here with the idea of bending for sure one of his sweet white sticks into the shape of a Candy Cane. He combined several attributes of Christ's love with the sacrifice of Candy Cane. First, he used a simple peppermint stick.
