What? Is Switchgrass Is Viable Energy Crop

Switchgrass has long been the main crop of farmers. Used as fodder, fuel and electricity for farm animals, buffer zone and soil erosion control.

 

However, when President Bush introduced the biofuel initiative in his 2006 speech, he advocated the use of local grass as an energy product.

 

The biofuel initiative is an important part of the energy initiative developed by the president. By 2025, the country strives to reduce its dependence on foreign oil suppliers by more than 75% of oil imports.

 

The goal is to use biomass to produce non-energy fuels, such as agricultural waste, trees, forest waste and annual grass.

 

The purified switchgear produces ethanol, which gives fuel to the vehicle. Currently, ethanol is sold in the form of E-85, mixed with 15 to 85 percent gasoline.

A study by the University of California, Berkeley found that gasoline production requires more energy than ethanol production.

Environmentally friendly

 

Switchgrass does not harm soil fertility, because it even adds organic matter.

Switchgrass is a reliable buffer. Farmers plant these crops in swamps and on beaches to filter pesticides and prevent the entry of these dangerous chemicals into the water supply.

 

Switchgrass removes carbon dioxide (CO2) from the air and puts it into the ground. Fossil fuels, on the other hand, emit large amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere, increasing air pollution and worsening the effects of greenhouse gases.

 

Use it financially

 

It takes a lot of money to develop a pipe. Adding government tax incentives and switches that improve switches would be beneficial, such as fuel extraction.

 

This is the current disadvantage of using the switch as the main source of biofuel.

 

The need to improve preventive technology

 

Modern technology is not effective in achieving higher results than switches. Researchers and developers need to solve this.

 

Space allocation requirements for the switch

 

Is there an agricultural area for switchgear installation? Systems should be established to ensure that there is room for transitional grass and feed crops.

 

The use of switches as an energy product can be implemented from an economic, industrial and environmental point of view.

 

However, the success of the switch as an energy crop will depend on these key factors: government policy and funding, research and development, technological innovation, and vehicle efficiency.
