Generally, In rural areas, people do not have proper toilet facilities. They go out in the fields or roads to excrete. This practice creates a lot of hygiene problems for people. Therefore, The Clean India mission can be beneficial in enhancing the living conditions of these people. Its primary focus is one rural area; the quality of life of the rural citizens will be improved through it. Also, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan will help in proper waste management as well. When we will dumping of waste properly and recycle it, will help to develop the country.

It is definitely with crucial goals and objectives, the issues associated with finance, implementation & awareness needs to be tackled in the right manner, every citizen of India should involve themselves and teach the behavioral changes to the literates and illiterates towards cleanliness respectively.
Indore in Madhya Pradesh is India’s cleanest city and Gonda in Uttar Pradesh, the filthiest.
Out of 10 cleanest cities, two are from Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh each while Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Maharashtra each have one.
Out of 10 dirtiest cities, Uttar Pradesh has five towns, two from Bihar and Punjab, and Maharashtra.
Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, it has been decided to undertake an individual clean-up initiative focused on 100 iconic heritage, spiritual and cultural places in the country.
This great initiative aims to make these 100 places model ‘Swachh Tourist Destinations,’ which will enhance the experience for visitors from India and abroad.
Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi received the award of “Global Goalkeeper” from the Gates Foundation for the initiative of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on September 25, 2019, in New York.
If all the citizens could come together and participate in this drive, India will soon flourish. Moreover, when the hygienic conditions of India improve, all of us will benefit equally. India will have more tourists visiting it every year and will create a happy and clean environment for the citizens. ‘Clean India…….Green India’.
People from different strata of society have come and joined this mass movement of cleanliness. From government jawans to officials, Bollywood actors to the sportspersons, industrialists to spiritual leaders, all have lined up for the noble work. Many NGOs and local community centers work to make India clean. At the village level, WSP, WHO, UNICEF, school children, Anganwadi workers, sanitation teams, youth, etc. could do the campaigns at a different level to keep people motivated for using hygienic practices. NRHM should include Questions to analyze and drive to change in the behavior of people about sanitation. Organizing frequent cleanliness campaigns and events for spreading awareness about hygiene through music and plays is also being widely carried out across the nation.
Some highlights of action plans:-
Construction of individual, cluster & community toilets.
The village will be kept clean, including through solid and liquid waste management through Gram Panchayat.
The water pipeline had to be laid to all towns and enabling tap connection to every household on demand by 2019.
Improve the growth percentage of toilets from 3% to 10% by the end of 2019
Involvement of school kids in the activities for spreading awareness on Sanitation, Hygiene& Water.
Most importantly, public awareness will be provided about the drawback of open defecation and the promotion of toilets use by recruiting dedicated ground staff. For proper sanitation use, the mission will aim to change people’s attitudes, mindsets, and behavior.
