We live - it seems obvious, but most people seem to be living most of their lives using autopilots. They certainly have hopes and dreams, they have ideas and plans, yet few really achieve them. Every passing moment, we lose the time we have been given to accomplish and deal with different things. Not many people in the world who are able to sit at a computer screen read articles like these that force them to live meaningful lives. They have a clear purpose - to survive. They do not dream of wealth or retirement, they hope to survive one day.
This is not a criminal trip, we are very blessed to live in North America or in another developed nation where many opportunities. But given more, much is expected of him. It is your job to discover what that is and to bring it about.
I grew up in a third country, and I have many relatives who would love to have the opportunity to live in North America. They do everything they can to live, feed their families, raise their children - not like us here… but very little they can wish for in the way of opportunities. In North America, we can strive for social status, finance, position, prestige, etc. and by working hard and with some help, we can achieve it in our lives as a select few. Sure, it's small, but the opportunity is there.
I feel I have a responsibility to make the most of my life. Is it? What might an effective life look like for you? Try to explore your dreams beyond normal wealth and popular dream. John Maxwell states: “Success is the pursuit of one's goals, maturity and strength, and the sowing of good for others.”
My definition of success is to actively close the gap between who you are now and what God intended you to be. The big question is, "What is your purpose?"
Here are some basic principles of purpose, which apply to any created or imagined creature or creature.
1. Everything is healthy and has a purpose
2. Not all-purpose is known
3. If you do not know the purpose of the object, you will misuse it. (e.g. a surgeon's scalpel can be used to save or kill.)
4. If you want to know the purpose of an object, never ask for objects.
5. The purpose of an object is found only in the mind of the maker of the object.
Only the first car manufacturer can know the full purpose of the car and its individual components. They are the only ones who know the power and can provide the right clues for use. Everyone else is guessing. You won’t find a Ford Manual in a Toyota car, and you can’t find one to fix someone else’s product. (Without closing warranty and proof of service!)
The purpose while it may seem obvious is actually hard to put down. Myles Monroe put it very well:
The purpose is the initial purpose for the purpose of making the object.
OR
Purpose is what makes a maker do something.
OR
The intention is what was wanted, which made the maker do something.
What the maker did was designed to produce what he wanted. What they wanted was purpose, what they did was product. The product comes after the purpose, and the product is created to produce the purpose. I know it's hard - but it's true.
e.g. Man needed an easy way to light a fire (purpose), so he invented a match (product)
being present means that there was a purpose behind your creation. No, it was not an accident (no matter how you got pregnant) and your success in life is determined, not by how much you spend or how much you spend, or what people may say. Success in life is determined by the goal you set for yourself, and every moment you spend with it, you should use it to achieve that goal.
In fact, success is not so much gaining, but being on a journey towards what we are born to do… Challenge yourself to live a meaningful life. Seek that goal - only your Maker can reveal it - and don't let people put you in the box! Always Live Your Life Purposefully!
