More focus will be on rural areas:
Starlink says that it wants to accelerate the development of rural areas of India with its broadband service. In the initial phase, the company will distribute more than 101 free devices to schools in Delhi and surrounding rural areas The company aims to make 2 lakh devices available in India by December 2022 and 80 percent of the devices will be in rural India. The special thing is that the company has received pre-orders for more than 5 thousand devices in India.

Starlink will launch its telecommunication service in India. This includes satellite broadband service, content storage and streaming, multimedia communication along with many more services. Apart from this, the company will do business of data transmission and reception equipment with its satellite phones, network equipment, wired and wireless communication devices in India.
SpaceX has 100% Subsidiary:
Starlink Country Director Sanjay Bhargawa said in his LinkedIn post, “We are extremely pleased to announce that SpaceX now has a 100% subsidiary in India. We can apply for the license as well as open a bank account. SpaceX is Elon Musk's rocket company, and Starlink is an internet division.
How Much It Will Cost:
Most Starlink customers take advantage of the beta program. This beta version works in remote areas of the world where there is no general Internet service or where Internet companies do not have towers. In areas where net service is very slow, Elon Musk's Starlink provides fast internet service through satellite. Customers will have to pay Rs 36,440 to take the beta program.
