Nothing Phone 1 will be made available through Flipkart in India. The Notify Me page is already live for the Nothing Phone 1 on the e-commerce portal. It’s likely that the phone will also be available on company’s website for you to purchase.
The Nothing Phone 1 will come with Snapdragon processor and Nothing OS, company’s own operating system.
Nothing Phone 1 may be worked around the previous generations of OnePlus smartphones that were minimalistic in design and user interface. Nothing Phone 1 would also aim to offer the clutter-free smartphone experience.
Nothing Phone 1 might aim to get into the OnePlus’s stronghold, the premium segment. The phone might see the newly announced Qualcomm chipset, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 with up to 12GB RAM. The Nothing Phone 1 is expected to run on Android 12 out of the box on top of its own OS, Nothing.
The smartphone may ship with triple rear cameras and a single selfie lens. Nothing Phone 1 could see the Sony IMX sensors, both in rear and selfie lens. The battery is expected to range between 4,200mAh to 4,500mAh with a charger inside the box.
Nothing is set to launch its much awaited
Nothing Phone 1 next month. This is the first smartphone that the company will launch since its inception.
The
Nothing Phone 1 is set to launch on July 12 at an event in London. The phone has already visited Thailand's National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC).
The handset will be available for purchase in India via Flipkart. As per some reports, the phone will be produced locally which could control the costs.
As per a tweet by tipster Mukul Sharma, the Nothing Phone 1 has got NBTC certification and bears a model number A063.
As per another recent, the Nothing phone (1) could release at around 500 Euros which translates to around Rs 41,519. The device is expected to come with upper midrange smartphone specifications.
The Nothing phone (1) will come with a Qualcomm chipset, which is expected to be the recently launched Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 .
Carl Pei has suggested that the smartphone will feature a unique design language that will also extend to the software aspect, with NothingOS, the company's own
Android 12-based skin.
The smartphone will come with three years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates. A recent report by Wallpaper showcased early designs of the Nothing phone (1) internal circuitry and design.
The Nothing Phone (1) is expected to come with 8GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone may pack a 4500 mAh battery and will run
Android 12 out of the box.
The Nothing Phone(1) may feature a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with support for 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ certification. The smartphone could pack a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, the device could feature a 32MP front camera.
Nothing recently announced the launch of its
Nothing Launcher for
Android devices on the Google Play Store which gives us a taste of the software side of things.
The Nothing Launcher is pretty similar to a stock Android launcher. It features a set of standard circular app icons and a single custom wallpaper.
