After Timothy Mclean's horrific and violent beheading, 2008. Vince Li received treatment for his psychiatric problems, especially schizophrenia which started a episode of psychiatry. He has now been considered fit to return to the community for A review of the Manitoba Criminal Court. This is a direct blow to Tim Mclean's family, I am sure we all sympathize with this family and their tragic loss. Vince Li brutally took the life of this young man and carried on his foolish act of cannibalism. The community does not want this man who lives in our area or rides in our transport system, who lives near our schools. This decision only shows a weakness in our justice system just being hit in the wrist will not be tolerated. He asks us to rely on his final analysis that he is less likely to get upset again. The fact that we may be upset also does not bring much comfort to South Africans. The unimaginable horror of these massacres was very real and had a profound effect on our country, destroying some families and abusing many of our citizens. The damage did not end that day who first responded and killed his life due to an overdose ptsd in 2014. At the very least, monitoring Li's medication and mental health care will certainly alleviate some of our fears in our province. It is unfortunate that Mr Li aka Will Baker suffers from a debilitating illness however his violent and deplorable actions in 2008 are still very new to Canadians. We do not want revenge we seek justice and Justice defeats us, accountability is what we want Tim McLean is important his life meant something to many people. Please keep sharing this request we can't keep quiet !!!!!! Vince Li had already been found unfit for trial, since at the time of his brutal assault he had been acquitted. He cannot be tried again because of a double accident. We as a nation need to demand that government be committed to providing mental health support. That our laws protect victims of violent crime first. Until then Vince Li / Will Baker should remain in the facility under 24-hour surveillance of his medication and consistent testing for its effectiveness.
