That tortoise started saying that tomorrow morning the race will be held again at this place. The rabbit said that not only we two, but all the turtles and all the rabbits in the forest will participate in tomorrow's race.
Next day morning all the animals of the forest had come to see this amazing race. Before the start of the race at the scheduled time, the tortoise announced that all the tortoises and hares should form their own pair. A tortoise will run in a pair with a hare. The first pair to touch the tree across the river will win. Now the pairs of hare's and tortoise were ready to run. As soon as the race started, all the hares rushed forward, while the tortoises were behind. But that old rabbit put his companion tortoise on his back and started running. On coming to the river, the tortoise made the rabbit cross the river by making it sit on its back. Thus, they both had won together.
