3. Make an app
It may seem difficult at first, but we promise it isn't! The Add App icon may be seen in every Podio workspace. Then click "Create app" after clicking this icon.
Our video guide to app development will show you how to understand the fundamentals and how to turn your existing procedures and ideas into a working app. We recommend that you watch the video in full-screen mode.
4. Contribute Content to Your Apps
There are a few different ways to add content to your new apps. You may quickly add new items to your apps, such as new projects, sales leads, or whatever else you need to keep track of.
If you already have data in a spreadsheet, you may import it into a Podio app using our Excel import tool.
You can also include a webform in your app; for example, if you've created a Job Candidates app, you can enable the webform and link it to your website to receive structured data directly into your app for your team to act on.

5. Find more about other Podio features
While the foundation of Podio is making and using apps, there is so much more! To obtain a better understanding of the other capabilities in Podio, we recommend viewing this more in-depth introduction.
6. Add a new Text field for more information.
Because the details field will include numerous lines of text, it should be set to "Large text area."

7 - Scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Save app.
That is all there is to it. You now have a Leads App that you can use to keep track of your sales leads and inquiries.
8 - Add a new Status Category field.
You can use the status field to filter your views and reports afterward. It's possible that you won't want to utilize the same status categories that I have. These are broad generalizations that cover the majority of lead statuses.
We hope these Eight pointers assist you in getting the most out of Podio and collaborating more effectively than ever before. If you have any questions, please leave a comment below so that we can assist you.
And so on, and so forth. The concept is that you and your customers may continue to communicate via email without taking any additional steps to log your communications, while you can see a wonderful overview of your sales funnel in Podio, as well as information and history for each individual lead.
