Oomph is a complex inner feeling of that energy, unexplained but real, that comes with drinking coffee.
Every coffee lover knows that what it is to smell the powerful and wonderful aroma of coffee and to enjoy it in chilly winter nights in a cozy couch and wrapped in a blanket. It feels like the most of the winters is here with this cup of charismatic coffee
I have been drinking tea for a long time, preferring tea to any other drink for years, until one day, I had a new helper. I was working as a stockbroker and stockbroker at the time, and that means a really stressful place, to be in a trading house all the time. So taking a break to grab a cuppa and get back to trading and viewing trading screens at the best prices was a great break anyone can count on.
My new assistant was a young woman in her mid-twenties, and it was wonderful to see her prepare her drink.
No, she was not a tea drinker like me. Instead, she was a coffee fan, perhaps even a coffee addict, you might say. On her first day on the job, she emptied out three sacks of hot coffee 3 out of his bag - instant coffee, sugar and non-dairy cream, then poured three packets into one cup, added hot water, and made strong coffee. She had not finished, because she also opened another packet of chocolate powder and sprinkled the chocolate powder on his hot coffee, creating a delicious aroma that filled the salesroom.
That was a certain "oomph" in his coffee.
Three months later, I discovered that I was suddenly drinking coffee and that I was no longer a tea drinker. It was a subtle conversion process, and I soon discovered that I really needed that coffee in the afternoon trading session.
Now, looking back, I have learned many ways to add “oomph” to my coffee cup.
Another way is to enhance the flavor with certain special ingredients.
My favorite ingredient is powdered ginseng. Ginseng is a traditional Chinese root plant, and American ginseng is more popular than Korean or Chinese ginseng. This plant makes a person alert when taken, and is usually taken to strengthen the immune system or the human body. You can get ginseng powder at the Herbal Store or in the form of pills that you can pour into a cup when you need “oomph”.
Remember that ginseng root powder has a bitter taste. So do not equate quantity with extra "oomph". You can just add enough to give you the enhanced aroma and "oomph" you need.
Another way to add a root powder is “tongkat ali”, which may be difficult to obtain. This root comes from the first plant in Malaysia and is a well-researched herbal root with aphrodiasic properties. Aborigines in the tropical rain forest of Malaysia used this to promote the “unreasonable” and proved this by having large families. For sale, you can find a bottle of this Tongkat Ali powder under the brand name “Power Root” worldwide. Just add a little bit and you will find a difference in your taste and feel the next well-being.
Now you can have that extra edge and “oomph” when you take your coffee again, whether it’s espresso or latte.
