- OBESITY:-
Obesity is a medical caused due to abnormal or excessive fat accumulation below the skin and around the visceral organs that may lead to several health problems. It is the 5th leading risk for global deaths. We should go for a health checkup if we are overweight because obesity is a cause of many health conditions, hence it is the best way to stay aware of our health and detect diseases at an early stage.
- DIAGNOSIS:-
Obesity is diagnosed on the basis of a physical examination and the patient's history. However, it is also diagnosed by calculating BMI (Body Mass Index) and by the use of Skin calipers.
- BMI:- BMI is a simple tool that is used to estimate the total amount of body fat. It is based on height and weight. If a person's BMI range from 18.5 to 24.9, then a person is not considered obese. A BMI of 30 or more means that your body weight is 35 to 40 more than the ideal weight. BMI = weight (kg) ÷ height ^2 (m)

Obesity is generally a result of poor eating or overeating, factors like hormones and genetics. Below are some of the factors that can cause obesity are:
