What is news full form?

INTRODUCTION :

Information concerning current occurrences is called news. word of mouth printing postal services, radio, electronic communication, or the testimonies of observers and witnesses to the events may all be used to convey this. "Hard news" is a term occasionally used to distinguish news from "soft" media.

MEANING :

The plural form of the word "new" was specifically used to produce the English term "news" in the fourteenth century. Similar to the French novella's and the German Na's, the Middle English counterpart was news. The Slavic languages exhibit comparable developments, such as cognates from Slovak noviny(from novþ, "new"), Polish nowiny, Bulgarian novini, and Russian novosti. The Celtic languages also exhibit similar developments, such as the Welsh newyddion (from need) and the Cornish now dhow (from nowydh).[1][2] The term "current events" was allegedly first used by Jessica Garretson Finch in the 1890s while she was professor at Barnard College.[3]

HISTORY:

There appears to be evidence that societies all across the world have established forums where individuals can exchange tales about fascinating new discoveries. Anthropologists have reported that asking travellers for news is a common practice among Zulus, Mongolians, Polynesians, and Americans from the South.[29] News that was sufficiently significant would travel far by word of mouth and be repeated frequently and swiftly.[30] News was frequently disseminated verbally to the general public by monks, travellers, town criers, etc., even after printing presses were invented in Europe.[31]

Additionally, news is disseminated in public spaces like the Roman baths and the Greek forum. Coffee shops played a significant role in the dissemination of news starting in England and continued to do so even after telecommunications became generally accessible.
