Hello, I am Rashi Bhardwaj, a student of Computer Science Engineering. Here I want to share my personal experience of pursuing NCC with my graduation and why NCC is important. It's not easy to do both at a time. NCC is adamant, but if you have a zene to do it, then it will become easier. NCC stands for "NATIONAL CADET CORPS." NCC is one of the best ways to make your career in defense. I want myself in the Indian defense force, and I love to do NCC even after knowing that it will not be easy to do it with engineering. NCC is a thing you can enter directly in SSB without written examination, but you must have the "C Certificate" with alpha grading for this advantage.
Now, I would like to tell you about the requirements in NCC. The basic things that should be in you are your attiquetes, behavior, strength, leadership qualities. If you don't have these, then NCC will become a huge challenge for you.
Now, again I want to clear What is NCC? The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a youth development movement. It has enormous potential for nation-building. The NCC provides opportunities to the country's youth for their all-around development with a sense of Duty, Commitment, Dedication, Discipline, and moral values to become able leaders and useful citizens. The NCC provides exposure to the cadets in a wide range of activities., with a distinct emphasis on Social Services, Discipline, and Adventure Training. The NCC is open to all regular students of schools and colleges voluntarily. The students have no liability for active military service. The motto of NCC is “ UNITY AND DISCIPLINE.”
NCC is the Indian military cadet corps wing of the Indian armed forces. NCC offers training to the students of schools and colleges. This is not compulsory training for all students. NCC not creates soldiers but develops leadership qualities in youth.
What is Education Qualification: Candidates must possess a Graduate Degree from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification with an aggregate of a minimum of 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years and a minimum of 'B' Grade in the 'C' Certificate Exam of NCC.
The NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure, and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. Further, it aims at creating a pool of organized, trained, and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life who will serve the Nation regardless of which career they choose. Needless to say, the NCC also provides an environment conducive to motivating young Indians to join the armed forces.
1) To Create a Human Resource of Organized, Trained, and Motivated Youth.
2) To Provide Leadership in all Walks of life and be Always Available for the Service of the Nation.
3) To Provide a Suitable Environment to Motivate the Youth to Take Up a Career in the Armed Forces.
4) To Develop Character, Comradeship, Discipline, Leadership, Secular Outlook, Spirit of Adventure, and Ideals of Selfless Service amongst the Youth of the Country.
This is all about. Hope it helps :)
