mParivahan App

mParivahan App:- To provide facility to all the driving citizens of the country to keep all the important documents of their vehicles like Registration Certificate (RC) and Driving License (DL), Insurance, etc., on their mobile in online digital format through a digital medium. The mParivahan App was launched by the Government of India, developed by NIC (National Informatics Centre). Through this app, now transport drivers will be able to get the facility related to road transport offices, traffic states, RTO's office location, along with documents like virtual RC, license, etc., on their mobile phone.

How to create mParivahan Account

• First of all, download the mParivahan app on Google Play Store.

• The applicant has to open the app, click the signup option on the right side, and click the sign-in option.

• Now on the next page is open; after entering your mobile number, you have to click on the option of Continue.

• Check terms and conditions and tick the box.

• After this, OTP will send on your mobile number, which you will have to enter. 

• Enter  OTP and click the Verify button.

• Then, you have to submit your name and mobile number to complete your profile.

• Then, your account will be created on the app, and your name and mobile number will come up on the home page.

• Then, your registration process will be completed.

Purpose of mParivahan App

The main objective of releasing the mParivahan App by the government is to provide convenience to the citizens through a digital medium, so that if the driver forgets the documents of his vehicle during any journey, then he can download all his documents under the mParivahan App in his mobile through a digital medium. Use the digital format of documents to be kept at the time of verification of documents. This document will also be valid as the original documents, along with the mobile app; citizens will also be able to get information about their nearest pollution testing center RTO along with a driving license mock test. The applicants can take their virtual documents on their mobile phone anywhere without any hassle or if the documents are torn, or if the documents are forgotten at home, even without the original documents.

Services and features offered under mParivahan App

Many services and facilities are provided to the applicants under the app, which is as follows.

1.  DL and RC details:- Under this app, applicants are provided complete information about their driving license and registration certificate by entering the DL number and RC number on DL and RC dashboard.
2. Language Selection:- Under the mParivahan App, applicants are provided the benefit of selecting only three languages ​​(Hindi, English, Marathi), through which applicants can choose their language as per their convenience.
3. Facility to search DL by date of birth:- Applicants can search their DL through the app by entering their license number and date of birth.
4. License Information:- Under the app, applicants can get all the information related to the license such as:- Learner's License, Renewal of License, Permanent DL, License related fee, Category Addition, International Driving Permit, Duplicate License, etc. Huh.
5. Search Challan:- Applicants can get the status of their challan (if any) by their DL and RC number.
6. Shared/Received RC:- On this app, you can use this feature to see the details of your Shared/Received RC; through this app, you can share your RC with your contacts when needed.
7. Driving License Mock Test:- In the Driving License Mock Test, applicants are given 10 questions, for which 30 seconds are given to them for each question. Which applicants the applicant to improve their preparation for the test to be given when applying for DL.
8. Emergency Services: - Under this app, an emergency number is provided to the applicants by the option of emergency services, which they can dial in case of an accident or problem, as well as they can access their own profile and information on the app. Contact can also be made, which will be notified in case of an accident.
