1) "Tenet" (2016):
Tenet was one of the best sci-fi movies made in 2015. This masterpiece showed how far we have come from being scared by aliens in the future. The film also shows what is going to happen when machines take over the world. Tenet has the ability to change the way we live our lives over multiple lifetimes.
I haven’t seen it since it came out, but the trailer showed me exactly what that looks like!
2) "Titanic" (2012):
When it comes to Hollywood movies for the younger generation, I will always watch Titanic. Every time someone new watches it, they become obsessed with this movie as much as I do. Although the plot isn’t necessarily true, the story is captivating. If you love science fiction movies, then this is the perfect movie for you. It is an absolutely must watch if you are into science fiction movies!
3) "Black Friday" (2013):
Every year Black Friday happens, I find myself watching other people’s ads at the same time, which makes me feel guilty and annoyed. But this year I decided not to feel guilty and watch Black Friday because I know everything will be fine! Now I am excited to see what surprises can come from it!
4) "The Big Sick" (2015):
I started watching The Big Sick last summer when it first came out, and even though it wasn’t the best movie I ever saw, it really was amazing. I think everyone will enjoy seeing what happens to Gus Van Sant when he decides to move onto the next project. I really loved him playing Jack Sparrow from Star Wars because that is his role that I have grown up with! When the movie ended with Gus deciding to go back to his superhero life, I couldn’t help but smile that moment in awe!! That scene alone really got me excited to start watching The Big Sick again!5) "Jobs" (2017):
Jobs was another incredible movie, and I honestly never noticed how good it was until its release! Jobs follows two brothers who work together and develop careers to make ends meet in Los Angeles. If you love crime thrillers, then Jobs might be right there with you! Both movies are excellent and truly a must watch.
6) "The Way Back" (2016):
Another awesome Sci-Fi Movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio, and who better than Christopher Nolan!! Did anyone else immediately fall in love with Nolan's voice acting skills? Nolan's portrayal of Alfred Pennyworth is simply amazing!
7) "The Social Network" (2018):
This comedy is a must watch! As a social scientist, I’m constantly interested in the real stories behind technology. After reading a series of interviews with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, I found out where he did most of the research on social networks. Since learning the stories behind big companies, I realized how powerful tools such platforms can be. I will definitely keep watching Social Network. This film also explores how important it is to communicate with customers without just marketing to them.
