Deal with life's pressures

Be aware of your full potential

How can I improve my mental health?

There are different things you can do to improve your mental health, including:

You need to feel it in order to be able to get through difficult situations. They can help you respond to the problem. But you do not want those feelings to take over. For example, it is useless to dwell on negative thoughts or to worry about the future.

Trying to hold on to positive emotions when you have them

Taking a break from negative information. Know when to stop watching or reading stories. Use social media to get support and feel connected, but be careful. You may fall into rumors, get into arguments, or compare your life with others.

Practicing gratitude, which means being thankful for the good things in your life. It helps to do this every day, to think about what you are grateful for or to write in a journal. These could be big things, like the support you get from loved ones, or small things, like enjoying a delicious meal. It is important to allow yourself a moment to enjoy the experience. Practicing gratitude can help you to see your life in a different light. For example, when you are depressed, you may not realize that there are times when you feel good. Gratitude can help you see yourself.
