What is mean by science.

We use science to learn more about the natural world. Chemistry, biology, geology, astronomy, and physics are examples of natural sciences. Mathematics and logic are frequently referred to as "formal sciences" and are used in science. Natural science conducts investigations and observations. Accurate facts, scientific laws, and theories are produced by science. [1][2] The vast body of knowledge that has been discovered through this method is also referred to as "science." [3] [4]

Research is conduct using scientific methods.   Scientific research employs hypotheses that can be categorized according to various areas and are based on theories or prior knowledge. Then, experiments are used to examine such hypotheses.

 Scientists are those who investigate a field of study in order to learn everything there is to know about it. Science investigates things by observing. 

The term "science" today typically refers to a method of acquiring knowledge rather than the knowledge, itself. It mostly discusses phenomena in the physical world. "Philosophy" was reinvigorated by Greek contributions to Western Europe in the sixth and seventh centuries B.C. [5] Scientists began to frame knowledge in terms of natural laws, such as Newton's laws of motion, in the 17th and 18th centuries. The term "science" also started to be used more and more to refer to the scientific process itself during the 19th century. It was regarded as a means of learning about the natural world, including biology, physics, chemistry, and geology.

 William Whewell coined the term "scientist" in the 19th century as well. He intended it to distinguish between those who search for other types of information.[6] 

 

 The scientific method is the name given to the methods that scientists use to find information. The main features of the scientific method are as follows: 

 

 Scientists identify a question or  problem related to nature. Some problems are simple, like "how many legs do flies have?" and some are very deep, like "why do things fall to the ground?" 

 Next, the researchers investigated the problem. They are working on it and gathering facts. Sometimes you just have to look carefully.  Some questions cannot be directly answered. Scientists then come up with ideas and test them. They conduct experiments and gather information. Finally, they come up with what they think is a good solution to the problem. Then they tell people about it.  Later, other researchers may  or may not agree. They may suggest another answer. They can do more tests. Something in science can be revised if we find that the previous solution was not good enough. Example

 A famous example of how science works was the expedition led by Arthur Eddington to Principe Island in Africa in 1919. He went there to record where the stars were around the Sun during the eclipse. Looking where the stars were pointing, it turned out that the apparent position of the stars near the sun had changed. In fact, light passing the Sun was pulled towards the Sun by gravity. This confirmed Albert Einstein's predictions about gravitational lending  in his 1915 paper on general relativity. The observations of Eddington were considered the first definitive demonstration of the theory of Einstein.  The main points of the paper should be summarized in a conclusion to the research report, so that readers are better able to understand its contents. Although they are not usually accompanied by new information which has not previously been mentioned in an article, conclusions provide a variety of approaches to the issues or perspectives on them.
